A nuke isn't going to take out LA, their ultimate fate is going to be at the bottom of the ocean after an earthquake or something.

So I gather this was her last interview, what, this very month?

Such a pity. Too soon. When you google her now you see Born and then Died...that just sucks. There was undoubtedly more humour and mischief she would have contributed aswell as of course finishing out Star Wars.

Sad to see her go. Not to be selfish but 2016 has been pretty awful for my family. RIP Carrie.

Wtching SW will no longer be the same for anyone, especially rough will be rewatching TFA and then excruciating watching E8 next December during the same month of her passing.

I hate to bring up box office but her passing just might what makes E8 beat out Avatar.

Well the quake/tsunami comes afterwards.

I already bought my future beach front property in Arizona.

The "I ****ed Harrison Ford" publicity she kept pushing to sell her book might not have worked, but I'm sure the sales are going to go through the roof now!

Pop culture lost a legend today. If you like geeky stuff, whether that's Star Wars or Pokémon, she was at the forefront of American pop culture. We ALL lost a legend. Like others have stated, I too have felt this loss more so than others. Plus, it is good perspective knowing what it's like for those who mourned Bowie and Prince deaths. It's a BIG loss. She could easily be one of the Mount Rushmore faces of pop culture.

Well said, buddy.
