Teeny tiny - all Revoltech figures are around 5" in height.
The thing I love about Revoltech is that they don't specialise in any particular franchise, so you never know what's coming next. Especially now that they are branching into more western franchises. And because they are so small, so detailed, and so cheap, I will often take a punt on a figure I've never even heard of, just because it looks cool.
And they are so, so poseable. They can hold virtually any pose you care to think of, and usually come with a stand. These aren't standard joints, they are a special design that click into place with each adjustment, meaning that each new pose is 100% stable. Obviously a T-Rex can only get into so many poses by design, but it will still be more poseable than any other dinosaur figure, ever, barring something like a stop motion macquette.
Looks cool... and will be nice for collectors, but at T-Rex really doesn't fit in with this line given how the articulation will interrupt the flow of the figure.
Before I clicked the thread I was half-expecting something boring like an Alan Grant Revoltech figure.
It's not like we had tons of fully articulated dinosaur toys to choose from. Everything is either high end statues or low end dollar store quality toys, so I do welcome more of this!
We saw the prototype of the alien looooong before this one, and the alien hasn't been released yet, so...
I wouldn't hold my breath, it's going to be a while before this sees the light of the day.
Nah, the alien has already shown up in multiple shows and looks like production pieces, so I'm confident it'll be released soon.
And this T-Rex will probably be released next year.
At least I hope so...
It looks great too, which is why I'd like to get it. I'd really like the Batman and T-Rex we saw, sure it's jointed but it still looks fierce and with the right paint should be really cool.
