Agreed. My points are absolutely worthless to me ever since Sideshow stopped selling most of their 1:6 licenses like Planet of the Apes, Highlander and X-Files. Hot Toys are the only items I would buy from them and we can't redeem points for those. That blows. I no longer have incentive to buy direct from Sideshow.

PLEASE SS let us use them on HT's.

Otherwise I may never use my points, which is a real bummer.

Currently the only pre-orders that are excluded from points redemption (other than distributed product) are Convention Exclusives. You can be sure that if any other products are excluded, it will be made known up front. Due to the fact that Hot Toys/Medicom/etc are distributed product, I'm not sure that The Powers That Be will make them available for points redemption in the forseeable future. BUT you do earn just as many points on those products for buying direct, which you can then use towards a pre-order/order of a Sideshow product... that's where the incentive comes in

Good question Bannister! Today, we only see the pending points and the actual points. Showing us what items have been converted into points, is not a real luxury, so I suggested to Sideshow a while ago, to change that in our online accounts, so we can consult that information, every time we visit our accounts. Seams handy to me, let's see if they do it. So long, you have to ask SSC to send you a list of these items, or figure it out yourself through your order history. Have fun...

Oh, and for those that have reward points, and nothing to spend them on? Sell 'em on Ebay...

Q: How do I earn rewards?

A: Points can be earned on almost every product that we sell through our online store. You will earn one Sideshow Reward point for every dollar spent on the product price for all products marked with our Sideshow Rewards red star! You can also earn Sideshow Rewards through special promotions, contests and surveys through our site!

Long time Sideshow Collectors will begin their Sideshow Rewards program with 'Bonus Point' rewards, which are points approximately equal to dollars spent on completed purchases made with us from May 1, 2006 through September 30, 2006.

Point earned from purchases made since September 30th will find the points in the "Pending" section of their account balance until the orders have passed the 30 day product guarantee window and become available to use.

Collectors will not be able to earn rewards on purchases placed over the phone, through mail or fax, purchases made using your Sideshow Rewards, a gift card, e-coupon or other discount.
