I can't believe how hard this hit me.
But then, wow, listen to what the guy did, it was amazing. Even though he was overshadowed by Emerson and Wakeman etc as Keyboard gods, like ProgMatinee mentioned (we listen to a lot of the same stuff) he really was one of them though never as flashy or in the spotlight.
Its hard to think of any Floyd without realizing how brilliant his playing was (except of course THE FINAL CUT which was even self-described as "by Roger Waters, performed by Pink Floyd) He may have been subtle but his contributions were every single bit as strong as Roger, David and Nick.
