Buried within 5 hours of his death? The family must have bought the "express package" from the funeral home, wtf?! I'd be more suspicious if he weren't pushing 90...

I'm from Mt. Airy, NC, Andy's hometown. At a time when the South is only thought to have rednecks its good to remember there are plenty of great character people as well. Love TAGS. Watched reruns with my Grandparents growing up, so it has a special meaning to me. The show was about values, something missing nowadays. I'm sure Barney and him are on patrol in a far better place.

RIP Sheriff Taylor.

Andy was a private man. He never wanted to make a scene or cause a big fuss. I'm sure he made his wishes known for a quick funeral to prevent a media circus.
