I've ran a dog over which made feel sick.

I felt terrible for killing the dog but after it happened the neighbours of the owners came out saying that it was the 4th time that there known of the dog escaping its owners garden & running out into the road. The dog ran out between 2 parked cars & before I knew it I had ran it over in my truck, it happened really quick.

When the owner came out she was going mental at me, Police got involved. Absolute nightmare

Damn. I know how you must've felt. We hit a stray dog once and my cousin was driving. I was yelling at him for not seeing and saving it even after a couple of days.

Damn. I know how you must've felt. We hit a stray dog once and my cousin was driving. I was yelling at him for not seeing and saving it even after a couple of days.

I saw someone hit a dog and it got stuck under the front of the car. I lifted the car up and helped the dog get out. He wasn't seriously hurt but it was a small car.

But no I usually don't feel bad for roadkill I see unless I run over a dead skunk... then my car smells. If there is a car close behind me sometimes I like to run over the road kill on purpose to gross them out.

Sounds like some really stupid, careless dog owners. If your dog has a history of escaping onto a busy road keep it in the ****ing house! I will never understand people who just let their dogs roam free with all the dangers out there.

In the U.S., it is the dog owner's responsibility to keep their dog safe. Also, if a dog runs loose and causes a car accident, the owner of the dog is responsible for the cost of that accident. If someone veers to avoid a dog and hits another car, the dog owner is responsible for it.

I lit up a Raccoon one time going about 60 getting on the freeway. Little ******* tried to dart across the road and I couldn't slow down so I just had to plow right through him. I felt bad.. when I saw the dent on my bumper. **** that Raccoon.

My sister ran over my cat last summer. In my driveway, no less. Almost felt worse for her than the cat. I was driving to work and she called in hysterics. She was crying so hard, I thought something had happened to her daughter. Until she calmed down and was able to speak clearly, I was more terrified than I've ever been in my life. It really sucked to learn what happened, but talk about being relieved that it wasn't my niece who had died.
