You make the Predator a main character, and develop it, you're making one stupid ass movie. Period.

The Predator should always be the monster.

i watch the movie PREDATOR/s for the damn PREDATOR.
(same can be said with terminator, et. al.)

besides, an un-developed monster in a movie is always crapolla.

The original predator if you think about it didn't actually have that much screen time , only towards the end in the main face off was it fully revealed and up to today that final face off still has the very same impact. I would prefer the predators to be off screen or at least not be the main focus until we actually care for the characters. One of the main problems with both avp movies is that you couldn't care less if the humans died or not.

Personally I found it hilarious.

True that. I'm in the minority, but I enjoy watching the AVP movies just to see the deaths and body count.s

Fact.

I agree with you both. A movie like this is crap unless I actually care about the human characters. Predator 1, Terminator 1: loved the characters, but ultimately, I am watching it to see a well done, bad ass killing robot/alien. AVP and Salvation; cared nothing for any of the human characters, and that actually made me not care about all the screen time the bad guys had. Great villains only matter if you really fear them on behalf of the heroes.

This one could go either way. but I'm expecting AVP.

It's nothing like AvP. They actually made the Predators villians. Save for a certin scene...you want the Predators to die.
