Cuz that hand survived while the other one didn't.

Although this leads to another Q... Why his right foot is covered?!???!??

And yes, left arm and leg are the only actual robotic pieces so basically he's not RoboCop.

Six million dollar man is in today's money 60 million dollar man the first real robocop

Wait a minute now, I didn't realise that. He's only got a Robot arm and leg? I guess that deals with the complaints about him just looking like a guy in a robot suit. In the world of this movie he is just a guy in a robot suit - Iron Man basically.

Assuming he keeps that much. From what's been said here, I was under the impression that he loses most of his body but they just keep the hand. :lol

I remember in the trailer he asks about his body and someone (presumably Oldman) says that the suit was his body. I took it to be that whatever was left of his body was too badly damaged that they had to ditch it. I'm definitely not a fan of keeping the human hand though.

yes, thats the thing, he is a burned Iron man that is missing a hand and a leg.

But Iron Man nonetheless.

Well the Peter Weller Murphy was only missing one arm on the operating table and they ended up going with "total body prosthesis" so something similar could still be happening in the new movie.
