Just got my rogue comiquette today from sideshow...when i put her together it was obvious that the glove would not reach the fingers they were supposed to...is there a way to fix this on my own or do i have to send it back?

There are other members who had the same problem and I think they asked for a replacement. If the glove is too curved I'd suggest doing so. I had to force it a little to make the glove fit in her fingers but that was on my own risk!!!

sorry to hear abt your piece newcollector. but if it's any consolation you have in your posession one finely-crafted work of art.

i just got mine last night! and fortunately (phew!) my piece aligns perfectly.
here are some pics i took at dawn today. the early morning light really brought out the vibrancy of her colour, and made her look even more gorgeous. :monkey5

there are some minor imperfections and scratches in the paint. but overall i'm really pleased with her. :joy

some more pics. i took mostly close-ups to focus on the details, since everyone here already knows what she looks like in general...

Definitely Green is a great color!

Mine doesn't fit either, at least not to where it lines up. I got a replacement glove and it was the same deal. Still has about a 1/8 to 1/4 inch gap. I haven't pursued a replacement, maybe I should.

it looks like it will reach if you just move it across to the thumb. Mine wasn't lined up properly (I assumed they all weren't) so i just moved it across onto the thumb - although it seems to reach better than yours.

u can check out my vid of it from the link below

Really nice pics tyler, and sorry to hear about the glove not reaching for you newcollector. Mine didn't line up either and I had to slide it up into her fingers, but once I got it there it was fine.

thanks havok! :D

when i was inspecting my rogue at the store last nite, i mentioned the "glove not meeting hand" alignment problem to the guy and he said the glove piece is made from a softer, more pliable material. so if your piece doesn't align, u can GENTLY (key word!) bend and coax it so it lines up with the fingers of the left hand. u can dip it in warm water to "soften" it up first if you're worried abt breaking it.

hope this tip helps anyone who is having this problem...

saw her in person today, looks good. The glove she is pulling off looks sweet, sculpted really well. still a pass for me though.

I received my Rogue and Mary Jane today. Sweet!! They look great, specially Rogue. However, the glove, like many of you, was not lining up with hand. So I heated it up with a blow drier for about a minute and it got a bit soft so I lined up with her thumb and put something in her hand like a tissue or something to avoid the glove to slid down her hand. You have to let it cool down for a day or so before removing the tissue or whatever you put there to keep the glove in place.

Mine looks awesome. I was going to take some pics but I can't find the camera....

Remember, if you use a hair drier, BE VERY CAREFUL repositioning the glove. It is very fragile and it will break if you are not careful.

Cheers....:banana

I didn't have a problem with the glove although mine didn't line up, I just moved it over to the correct position.

I did have a problem with the hand fitting in! The hole was way too small. I had to file the pin down (oh so carefully) and keep testing it until it fit as i didn't want it to be too loose.

It looks great now. A beautiful (and sexy) sculpt of the female form!!!

MMMMMMMMMMMMM... Rogue!

bearmodel, daliman: PICSSSS!!!!

she is one photogenic lady, and looks especially lovely bathed in warm light.

i wake up every morning and take a minute or three just to stare at her. heh heh. yeah i'm a little infatuated. can't blame me, right? :D

however, i have to say the paint apps on the face can be improved upon.
i'm gonna get some acrylics n touch up her eye shadow and lips. don't have access to an airbrush (yet), or i'd give her rosier cheeks too...
