Royce's Collection - 1/4 and 1/6 figures

Hi fellow collectors.. I've been around for a little while now trying to contribute to the board and sharing pictures when I can. I'm finally getting around to creating a display thread. The majority of my collecting was focused on 1/6 scale but recently I sold most of my 1/6 stuff and moved up to 1/4 scale.. With a few 1/6 figures sprinkled in here and there.

Added some figures and a statue to help round out my Avengers collection.

NECA 1/4 Iron Man
This guy spends as much time on the floor as he does on display. He is a little busted up but at this point he is just a place holder until Hot Toys releases the 1/4 Mark 43.

Hot Toys 1/6 Hulk
Love this figure. I almost passed on this guy. Glad I didn't. The first of 2 purchases I got from fellow freak Predator1221. Very fair and great to work with!

Hopefully in the future I can add some more Avengers up here.

NECA 1/4 Thor - Custom Paint job
I stumbled across a custom painted Thor on eBay. The paint application was MUCH improved and revealed that the head sculpt is not that bad. It looks like Thor.. Nothing like Chris Hemsworth.. but it actually looks like a good representation of the character. I am really glad I bought this:

Gentle Giant 1/4 Black Widow
Amazing statue. The detail in the outfit is astounding!

NECA 1/4 Captain America
Please Hot Toys.. Give us a 1/4 Cap! This guy is a placeholder until I get my hands on something better. Still.. Helps to pull the collection together

Enterbay 1/4 BD Terminator
Wow.. If you are a Terminator fan you have to own this guy. The detail is insane.

NECA 1/4 Closed Mouth Classic Predator
Best Predator figure out IMO

Hot Toys 1/4 Batman
Very high quality figure. Of all the figures this one probably feels the highest quality in hand. Got this for a great price from a fellow freak.. Thanks The Chev! Great Guy. I'm still looking for an empty cowl if anyone out there has one for sale!

Hot Toys 1/6 Jake Sully - Avatar
Although it's 1/6 scale this is the figure that started my redirection to 1/4. He is the size of your average 1/4 figure and I really liked the presence he had as a larger figure. My smaller figures looked a bit less impressive suddenly. Shout out to fellow freak TheOwl for the incredible deal.

Diamond Select 1/4 Darth Maul
The head sculpt on this cheap figure really holds its own with the big boys. The way I have his outfit is not screen accurate.. But I like it lol

NECA 1/4 Master Chief
This was my first true 1/4 scale figure. Most of my 1/6 scale stuff went on sale a few weeks after his arrival. Great figure for Halo fans. I had never considered NECA figures as collectable until this release.

NECA 1/4 Masked Classic Predator
2nd best predator figure available IMO. Thanks to fellow freak mr.thrifty for the good deal.

NECA 18" Gypsy Danger
I'll admit to never having seen the movie and initially I bought it as a place holder just to fill the detolf up. It has a Transformer Shockwave vibe to it that I like.

Hot Toys 1/4 Endo
I never thought I'd have a chance to own this one because of the aftermarket prices. I bought the NECA version and had it repainted but I was not satisfied with it. Found a great deal on this board and jumped on it. Purchase #2 from fellow freak Predator1221.. Great Price for the exclusive (that I have displayed with no guns! lol.. that's funny) Thanks friend.

I recommend picking up the Enterbay Terminator while he is still available. I bought mine new off eBay for less than retail. As a figure it is a bit stiff so don't expect to pull off too many crazy action poses but he doesn't need it. It's still one of the best 1/4 figures on the market with the best Arnold likeness. The Neca Gypsy is phenomenal when you consider that it costs $200-$300 less than Enterbay/Hot Toys figures this size. I do need to check out the movie lol

Thanks man. I didn't even think about doing a body swap.. that's a good idea especially since this guy arrived with a broken leg. I got a full refund and was told to keep the figure so no complaints here!

Maate the avengers set up works well. I really want to do one too but the hot toys route is costly. This looks great and I may look into this. Just picked up the t2 arnie simply one of the best!!

If I do do it, I may look into adding real hair to the thor figure . Likeness is off but like you say, the figure itself looks great.

I was headed down the same path of Hot Toys Avenger collecting but decided to go 1/4th scale. The NECA figures are doing a great job of standing in while I wait for Hot Toys versions of the character. HT is giving us Iron Man. Hopefully they release some other Avengers at this scale.

The outfit/armor on the NECA Thor is VERY well done. Armored arms to hid the joints and a more accurate head sculpt would take this figure to the next level.
