Kid Buu just has to be the next villain. He's the only major villain left from the American run of DBZ.

I would love Janemba. One of my favorite looking villains in dbz, but I doubt we'll get him anytime soon.

The problem I see with kid buu is there wouldn't be much to him. Meaning he's a small figure with little to no accessories. I hope they release super buu, honestly. And not just because he's my favorite version, but as a consumer, I would feel like I'm getting my money's worth. And depending on how they produce a super buu figure, they could probably squeeze a few different variants out of him.

A simple alternative is to simply lower the price for kid buu, but we all know that wouldn't happen.

Kid Buus about the size of cell saga Gohan, so size isnt an issue; as for accessories, he would be similar to frieza with full heads needed, an energy ball and some hands would be fine to me, maybe an extended arm like what luffy from one piece got as an accessory

What about Fat Buu? He became an entity separate from Majin Buu and is even in Battle of Gods..

and it was actually his fault that they started fighting in the first place. if he wasnt stubborn & just gave Beerus some pudding, then he would've been content & probably left earth not wanting to fight anybody, lol

if they give him a face (like the one below) that my scultures doesn't have i'd buy one :panic:

Exactly. If anything, Tamashii would be more eager to make a smaller figure than a larger one.

Sigh. The Freeza I bought that's supposed to arrive today seems to have been stuck in USPS limbo. The tracking status hasn't changed since Saturday. :(

Anyway, thinking of Fat Buu, I wonder how they'll design his head movement. He doesn't have a neck! And how will he be able to look up and down if he doesn't have a visible neck? I'm pretty sure it's possible to make him turn his head left or right. I actually want a Fat Buu toy, he's cute and awesome even if he won't have a moveable head. :)

Or they'll just p*ss out and make him a Zero :lol

I hope we get Beerus next year. Kid Buu, Nappa, Beerus, and Adult Gohan, with a SSj3 Goku repaint SDCC exclusive.

Kid Buu is almost a given I'd say for the next villain. Considering how Tamashii has said they'll be concentrating on the Buu saga characters.

Here's the confirmed line-up:

OCTOBER

-Android 17

DECEMBER

-Legendary SSJ Broly

FEBRUARY/MARCH (Estimate)

-Android 16

MAY/JUNE (Estimate)

-Vegito

I'd say the remaining 2015 line-up chances would look something like this, in no particular order:

-Kid Buu
-Majin (Fat) Buu (If they do another Buu, I see him before any others...it might also depend on Broly sales)
-Buu Saga Vegeta (Majin & Regular heads and faces)
-Gotenks (with various heads/faces)
-Ultimate/Mystic Gohan (VERY easy for them to make, hopefully includes SSJ head, sword and some action accessories)

Re-releases, who would serve nicely to break things up and go along with new releases:
-Trunks
-Teenage Gohan (manga ver. with extra face and battle damage arm?)
-SSJ3 Goku (Better paints? More matte and less glossy)

I think Vegeta might be ruled out because they'll want to do a Buu Saga version. Plus we saw a lot of Vegeta with two releases in 2014. A newer "Cell Saga" Vegeta might be in line for 2016.

Im not too sure Fat Buu will be released this soon. The other 4 are safe choices, but considering there's already two releases next year, I doubt they'd bring them all next year.

How do you think they are going to get around rereleasing Trunks and SSJ3 Goku when they've been adamant that they can't rerelease the web exclusives? They would have to be total repaints to categorize them as brand new releases. I can see a Trunks or SSJ3 Goku repaint being next year's SDCC exclusive, but even then, what colors do they use? I don't think they are any new colors that wouldn't just be made up.

Never say never! I've heard a lot of companies say one thing and do the complete opposite...so I don't believe Bandai/Tamashii when they say they can't re-release the web exclusives.

You also neglect the power of different accessories.

SSJ3 Goku, like I mentioned before, can be a tweaked repaint. Give him a brighter orange gi, flatter matte (as opposed to the "glossy") paints and match the undershirt blue with the belt and wrist-wraps more. Basically you'll be getting a "manga" and "anime" SSJ3 Goku like they've done with SSJ Goku, Piccolo, and Gohan.

You can also get rid of the ki field "blades" and perhaps give him something else like electricity or other hand molds. Maybe a little gold Shenron for a "Dragon Fist" pose.

Trunks, I agree would be trickier. Perhaps darken the pants up a bit, maybe even give him a brand new hair sculpt. Also, you could detail the faces a little more with the line work they've done on some of the other faces.

It's possible to do just straight re-releases and NOT tweak the figures that much (perhaps just paint and detail touch-ups). Other companies have done it before and Bandai has done it with their other product lines. Taking into account the words "can't" or "won't" typically just means it's not lined up for the NEAR future, but it doesn't mean it's impossible...ESPECIALLY with some of their most popular characters that are guaranteed sales.

SS3 Goku would be a good SDCC release and the only repaint I'd really consider at this point. The original version had dodgy paint and when they eventually release Buu the demand for SS3 will go through the roof.

Trunks is my favourite release of the line, mainly because of the normal and SSJ head, but I agree its main flaw is that missing cut joint above the bicep. So limiting for poses :(

I believe the reason they say CAN'T for Trunks, SSJ3, SS Vegeta, etc, is because of a licensing restriction. Something about because they were exclusives to Tamashii Web, they contractually aren't allowed to produce and release them again. I THINK that's the case. There are interviews with tamashii reps somewhere about all this.
