Is it possible that the DaTong Vegeta quantity is becoming more scarce? There are some people on eBay that are selling him around the current $27 - 30 but then others are selling him for $70+. I always assumed that bootlegs would continue being produced as long as there was demand.

I don't think so. I think some sellers are trying to catch on the hopeful stupidity of uninformed collectors between the real deal/bootleg and others are "following" suit.

Funny thing is, one of the prominent sellers, spring-2010, who've I bought them from for $28 before has listed them up at $128. I'm wondering whether that's a typo or they're trying to cash in a little..I don't know.

All DBZ Figuarts in Japan are web exclusives. So any specialty shops that get him may take a few days before he's on the shelf.

That makes sense because it's only a select few who list their prices so high. There's at least 4 - 5 sellers who are selling him for under $30.

That's exactly why I brought it up because I ordered my Datong Super Saiyan Vegeta from sping-2010, too. I'm hoping it's a typo because I want to order another one and I had such a great experience with that seller I'd like to do business with them again.

After seeing the explosive effects, I really hope Bandai will do a special "yellow"-colored flame effect or if we're lucky, a new DBZ Super Saiyan flame effect (with attachable/detachable blue lightning).

That would honestly be the piece de resistance to me. Especially for Super Saiyan 2 Gohan.

I'd even accept a "repaint" of their current flame effects but more of a yellow/white like we see in DBZ as opposed to red.

But yes, specialized DBZ Super Saiyan flames would be awesome too.

I'm sure it was a style design thing by Toriyama but it's still pretty funny.

17 looks so ****ing awesome.

Let's not forget he wanted to drive a car because it was fun, pretty sure 17 just likes to walk around with a gun. In fact it makes it much funnier to use knowing you could blast people with an almost literal snap of the fingers. I like it, some of Toriyama's more DB-ish humour snuck in there.
