Nice! Would have loved to snag that kinda deal. I plan on getting 17 after Piccolo and Goku. Unless I see his price start to go up. Then I may get him sooner.

With being new and behind it's hard to try and get the new ones as they come out when trying to get past releases before they go up lol it's a vicious cycle. Especially for po folk like myself

I was in the same boat for quite awhile. I didn't pay any attention to Krillin and Android 18 for so long because I was focusing on getting money together for previous figures like Trunks and SDCC Gohan. Once you catch up to a specific point, it'll be a lot of easier.

I think with the recent "hero" releases like regular Goku, SSJ Goku re-release, and Piccolo, Bandai made a greater quantity available. Which makes sense since Goku is the main character, heroes are traditionally "more popular" in Japan and you want to make your top guy more available (which is why American toy companies constantly re-release popular characters in their toylines and the case assortments shipped to stores usually have MORE of the popular character) as he'll sell the most. Which is why there seems to be a greater quantity of Goku figures to go around.

Android 18, and perhaps even 17 as well as the upcoming 16 aren't so popular or "well-known" around even casual DBZ fans...so they probably didn't produce as much quantity. Which is why you see the sell-outs and the price climb higher...

That's a very good point. I would expect Son Goku to have the most quantity produced of any given figure since he truly is the base figure throughout the entire series.

Ha, I wish. I've found foreign websites from time-to-time that carries one or two DragonBall Z S.H. Figaurts. They're mostly older releases though. Some charge much more than you'd think. I've only found one where they were actually selling under what the usual after market price was set at.

There was a SDCC Gohan bid war. Within about five-to-seven minutes, the price went from $212 to $298. The funniest thing is there was another SDCC Gohan that sold for $222 less than an hour before that bid ended. ...eBay

Speaking of eBay, Datong Vegeta sold out from the seller I posted earlier. Apparently he only had around 30 in stock but I'm waiting for it to come back. Hopefully it'll stay at the same price though which may be a long shot.
