S.H.FiguArts Dragonball Z figures!!!

@Flank great pictures! but that's exactky what's keeping me from buying even 1 zero, Id be entering the statue market and that's a whole nother thing. I've never at all liked statues much and I feel figuarts isn't the best statue maker necessarily.

That's kinda why, even though I'm tempted, I wanna keep at figures. That's my passion, my hobby of old, and that's where SHF is the top, <1/6 scale action figures.

So yeah, that's my 2 cents on that. And there was a lot more zero news than AF news today for dbz. For the AF crowd we got U gohan and Buu and a lot of effects. That's kinda it.... And a lot of implied/accompanying information.

I hope they make Gotenks ssj3 instead of goten+trunks. Ive no interest in them if they're not fused, but fused they're kindof the shazam of the z fighters i recently thought.

Those are indeed impressive, great collection dude. However, for many of us, the articulated 6-inch scale is near perfect, as they're not too small nor not too big. Many of those fixed poses of your statues, we can also recreate with our Figuarts, and if we get tired of said pose then we can easily switch it up with no worries. Tired of having Goku smile all the time? Cool, just swap out the face for an angry one. Want to have Piccolo playing paddy-cake with Vegeta? Great, just switch the hands from fists to open palms. The statues are just that; statues, they're stuck like that forever unless you buy another statue in a different pose.

Also, statues are quite big & take up a lot of real estate on one's display. These Figuarts are the perfect size since they don't take up a lot of room and are easily maneuverable if you have to move to a new house or whatever. Statues need a lot more care, you need to pack them nice & safe so they don't get damaged. I dropped my Figuarts on the floor several times & not so much as a scuff mark has appeared on them.

The detail on those statues are quite amazing, though. I don't think these Figuarts will ever attain that level of detail. But these have the exact likeness of the characters, almost as if they literally jumped out of the cartoon/manga and into your hands. Figuarts 18 looks EXACTLY like she should. The sculptors really hit the nail on the head. Sometimes, in statues, they can look a little odd with the facial expressions.

I noticed this also. It is a great thing in my opinion, as it is correct to the anime/manga design. Buutenks was always drawn as if he had no jawline, like a muppet; whereas, Ultimate Buuhan had a cleanly chiseled jawline. Hopefully this means that we have a single Super Buu with two separate body pieces.

@flankster - crisis hit it spot on for me. The statues are very impressive and that is a veeeery nice collection. But statues are expensive, non-changeable, and the bigger issue for some, myself included, is that they take up a lot of space. Which is why I got out of Hot Toys. To big and to expensive. The figuarts are (for the most part) cheaper, smaller, and poseable.

Wow those statues...are magnificent I almost want some of them. I've even seen a few person like Oozaru Vegeta. I'm not too big of a statue guy myself, I only buy what looks great. I bought a Good Smile Company one and it's beautiful, while some of mine are from game collector's editions, and some statues aren't that big. But I still like having variety in mine, it's nice.

He does some very awesome work. I'll definitely be hitting this guy up for the kamehameha, special beam cannon, and destructo disc. And probably more lol so much want there.

He does, doesn't he? Yeah, his Kamehameha actually looks like a Kamehameha. I really like it. The Rapid Fire is unbelievable. So well done.

That would be awesome with Broly. Just make the tips green also instead of clear and maybe a little bigger and it'd be perfect for what I'd like for Broly.

Those 2 are the versions and scenes of Vegeta that I would like to do most. I have 5 cards left from the the DBZ CCG and Vegeta the Revitalized is one. That's why I'm excited for the cloud effect. I can somewhat recreate that. But I'd be surprised if they made Super Vegeta. If they did I'd faint lol

Yeah, crisis gave away his secret, I appreciate it a lot though because it is a potentially great effect for Broly.

Do you have Vegeta the Revitalized? That's an ultra rare card. What other cards do you have left? I know, it'd be awesome if they decided to make him and Trunks like that.

I WILL FIND THEM! ...Wait, I mean buy. I was getting caught up in the moment of thinking about Man of Steel S.H. Figuarts.

I demand not just Man of Steel, but also Figuarts The Amazing Spider-Man and Figuarts Legend of Zel- wait no, Figuarts Smash Bros.

Figuarts The Avengers (not Age of Ultron) would have been neat too, that's what I thought it was at first but I guess I'll make do with the Figma ones

The Amazing Spider-Man S.H. Figuarts would be lovely.

Well we have Figuarts Mario, D-Arts Megaman, D-Arts Mewtwo & Charizard, Figma Samus & Link, Revoltech Snake, those new articulated Yoshi & Bowser figures (forget the company), etc. We can pretty much assemble a Smash Bros display on our own! (which I have)

About Figuarts Avengers, that's awesome, but I wish they would've based the looks off the comic books instead of the movies. When I look at Figma Thor all I see is Figma Chris Hemsworth, or Figma Chris Evans, instead of the actual character. I dunno why but it just bothers me

On Buuhan, the seem for detaching his head is clearly visible even back towards the neck, however on Buutenks I can't see ANY seem. It almost looks like you have to pull out the entire neck. It might just be the lighting, but I thought that was odd.

Yeah, I don't see a seem at all but, similar to what Silrian said, that may be a very early prototype.

Yeah I noticed the neck thing too. But I now see they smile is different too. I think either way buutenks is more in proto stage.

But I'm gonna assume the 2015 line up is 16, vegito, buuhan and U gohan, maybe another easy release or a variety release on buuhan if theyre not a hybrid release.

Plus rereleases and/or sdcc ex.

Don't forget Super Saiyan 4 Goku.

Considering he went for over $100 and still retains that value if not higher I'd say I got it for a steal. These are the only 5 I have left unfortunately. The rest got lost moving or were sold.

Yeah here lately I've been really wanting to play again. Really wish I hadn't got rid of my cards. I had just about all of them from all sets. When I finally got a hold on Vegeta the Revitalized I decided to never lose or sell it lol

That's exactly what I thought. When I only saw one tag/title card for Majin Buu, I knew it was going to include both versions. I'm going to stick to believe that it will be until told otherwise by Tamashii.

Aw man, that's a great buy and is really a steal. When did the card game die? I have a whole bunch of those but I actually don't play the game. I just bought it for the character/power cards. I just got back into it earlier this year along with everything else Dragon Ball Z. I'm thinking of breaking into the Panini set, too.

They ended the CCG card game with GT. Which a lot of my friends didn't want to get into because they didn't care much for GT and the game changed pretty drastically. But Cell Saga was the best set imo which is also my favorite saga from the show so I'm a little biased lol

Im with everyone else flankster, you have an awesome collection, but I collect the figures because I like being able to choose which pose to put them in, plus they are consistent in height etc, statues are not.

These arent toys man, these are adult collectibles, same as the statues
