The problem I had with Mystic Gohan was that it was so short lived. It was awesome to see Gohan rise again, in a brand new form at that, after being absent for the arc for majority of the season. It's neat watching him pound Super Buu in ways Gotenks couldn't even compare to, and seeing that he was truly a whole new Gohan. The best part? Gohan had nothing to hold him back, no time limit, no huge energy consumption, the only thing that would hold Gohan back is potentially any doubts he had, like with Cell. Then Super Buu pulls a **** move and absorbs both Gotenks and Piccolo, and Gohan's shining moment is nothing more. And it lasted for so little, seriously. Even worse is this lasted for far more than 30 minutes and Gohan couldn't do a thing, and Buutenks only lost that power when Goku came back. Then Gohan gets absorbed. It's pretty painful to watch at times for me, honestly.

It would have been neat if Gohan, in another moment of pure rage, unlocked even more power after being taunted and having a breaking point like with Cell killing 16. Maybe combined Mystic + Super Saiyan. Or maybe if he could lasted the full 30 minutes without Goku coming, or something, maybe got a zenkai...it was a cheap cop out. Vegitio coming into the picture was cool, but honestly, this was disappointing.

Really? I've never watched the entirety of it but I always thought Goku went Super Saiyan 2 against Pikkon?

Here's the pose. Best I could get it. Along with some extra as I'm pretty well finished. I added parakeet green on certain parts of the hair that give it that extra shade of green seen.

Well heres my now current setup, all the stands make it seem a bit busy though so I may change it again soon.

All in all, Broly is a behemoth, and has possibly just taken my favourite figure spot!

Its not really super Trunks I want, just armor ssj Trunks as in the first pic Ang. I like Trunks normal form in that suit, ponytail or not. Super Vegeta is fine, but super Trunks is too bulky imo, never liked that form of him.

I've always liked Super Trunks but I suppose he doesn't have to be too bulky for a release, just more mature. Similar to the last two photos in the picture below. It would be a perfect set. Unless they save the fourth head for Trunks' attire against the Androids.

Looks awesome with those effects! Do you know where the aura effects came from?

Somebody asked him the same question. This was his response; "The Tamashii impact effects I got from Amazon since I have Prime and the golden auras are from a company called Obitsu. The ones I used are called the Obitsu Gowawon and I got them from Hobbylink Japan and Ami-Ami"

Well the thing is Figuarts SS Vegeta is the Android saga version, in which he makes his Super Saiyan debut and fights 19 and 18. Bulma makes a slightly different version for his time chamber training and the Cell games.

Yeah, I kept on editing my post and eventually got to that point. Those pictures were perfect to show the back armor!

Awesome setup, Big Deano! I love the different displays. Ones in the front pose* on top, ones in the action pose on the bottom. ...Broly is so massive.

I'll probably experience the same pains when I watch it. I'll remember to post my opinion about it when I eventually get to that point in the series. (I just got to Cell becoming Perfect so I have ways to go.)

Thanks! I'm really happy with how it turned out. And assuming prices aren't already at ridiculous prices come the end of January I'm gonna buy one more to keep original in box.

Yep, decided there was too much going on in the Broly fight, so I swapped it about and took some stands away, looks much better imo, and by request (Ang) the rest of my dbz collection (thats on display, too many in the loft/attic to display in on cabinet lol)

Just got broly and man hes huge. Looking at this pictures, I just didn't realize how large he is in person. I probably won't take him out of his box for a few more days since they're painting in my room. But man I'm glad I got this. The $65 cost for broly is definitely justified.
