Generally, Goku received a permanent* power boost through the Super Saiyan God transformation that he didn't achieve on his own. Specifics could be argued but there's no denying the previous statement.

You can deny that, and I do, I do not interpret it this way. The God form is a temporary infusion of other people's powers, it's nor a permanent power boost (and therefore has a time limit). This is all explicit info. When he summons the God power on his own against Beerus' final attack, that's not an extension of power that's given to him. That's him being able to achieve it on his own. And goku's awesome because of it.

Hopefully Rise of F will definitively prove which interpretation is correct, because I can't find explicit comments on this from the creators. But I think your interpretation isn't what the film means. If I'm wrong, which could be the case, than I will be disappointed like you (although less than you I think).

I found this on 2chan, 16 is looking great. I can't wait for next month.

Ouch, those shoulder/biceps connection though, that's even worse than the goku mould. I'm happy for everyone who wanted this character and got it, but it's definitely not as much a home run as the twins were.

Yup, glad I didnt order him now. He is nowhere near Brolys size for the same price, and he comes with pretty much nothing, money grab much? Hes just barely taller than Cell and look how much he came with for less money!

Don't think it's a moneygrab, think they made less of him and more expensive because the market for the character is smaller. At least I think they think it is. And look at us two here NOT buying him.

Assuming Ultimate Gohan, Majin Vegeta and OG Goku are the only ones I'd genuinely be upset about if they're never made. No tall Trunks would also be a bummer but I'm kinda expecting that blow tbh. And then Nappa, Tien and Gotenks would be cool. Kid Buu I can think I'll buy but leave sealed until I know whether ssj3 goku ever returns, because without ssj3 goku I don't need Kid Buu.

If Rise of F has good parts for Beerus and Whis, I kinda wouldn't mind having figuarts of them.

So at the very most that's 11 releases left to buy for me... Stuff like 1st form frieza, ginyus or zarbon... I just don't it happening.

I agree Deano, tamashii should make majin Vegeta. But tbh with them you never really know what they are going to make next.

I really REALLY want an ascended saiyan version of vegeta and the full power super saiyan version of trunks. The trunks should be somewhat similar to Broly right?

Bulk wise yes, size wise no. I enjoy Broly but I find him quite hard to stand in a variety of poses. Piccolo was the first figure I bought and I was spoiled on his articulation. The ones I've picked up since haven't lived up to his posability.

Probably Android saga, but I would also love Saiyan saga, any others wouldn't really make much sense, those were the last time he was really relevant. Either way, I can't wait, easily my favourite character!

Same here. I was never too fond of Android 16 as a character; i didnt hate him but i didnt like him either. Judging from these photos, I'm not too impressed, but this is after Tamashii gave us the best Broly figure ever made, that's hard to follow up on so I gotta cut them some slack lol. They could've easily skipped 16 altogether, but they didn't and I appreciate that. So I'm looking forward to adding him to my collection


and as i've said numerous times, it's too late for me. there's no backing out of S.H. Figuarts DBZ, even if they release Figuarts Pui Pui; i'm all in, till the very last stop on this epic trip, wherever that takes me. and i hope i'm not riding this out alone
