As we all know by now, Toriyama just likes to make stuff up as he goes along without giving any deeper meaning behind anything. I recall reading in the RoF manga how Freeza says that he's a prodigy. He never "trained" a day in his life, his power just came naturally to him (similar to how some people are "born" geniuses. Learning things comes much easier & quicker to them, whereas the rest of us have to study our asses off just to pass a test. Freeza is the same way, strength-wise.)

As for his species, it's still a mystery. Your guess is as good as any of ours. If I had to give them a name, the only logical name I can think of would be to call them "Changelings." My own personal theory, I like to think that his species has long been extinct, and is survived by a single bloodline, Chilled/King Kold/Cooler/Freeza.

In the guide books they are referred to as Arcosians. In Xenoverse it's just like Freeza race or something isn't it?

As to why Freeza is so strong, he's been said to be a prodigy, and was the strongest in his family already without training as was said previously. We also do not know the details of his training, and if his body can at this point be reconstructed from chopped up bits, I'm betting he can train harder/faster than any Saiyan to this point. That's my headcanon at least.

I wouldn't be too excited for it. At this point they are likely to only have Vegetto on the shelves. Although I had people telling me a couple of months ago that both 17/18 were on the shelf. My B&N had nothing from the Figuarts line though. Well none of the ones in Southern NH actually.

I dont mind having a bluefin sticker either, without them this line would have ended years ago anyway

Not only do I not mind having a silver instead of gold sticker or whatever, but you're right. The line would have died and I would've completely gone without knowing about the amazing figures that Figuarts makes without Bluefin keeping it going for this long!

I mean, I've even dipped into other lines of their figures, I just picked up the Joker from the Injustice line, since he's my favorite Batman villain, and I loved the game. I saw it a few weeks ago in a local comic shop for $80, said screw that, it isn't THAT good, then just now I realized I never checked Toyz or any other online retailer. Just so happened to check Amazon first and picked it up for $30! Now that's savings for waiting it out instead of trying to get it ASAP.

Oh I live in Maryland. And book stores over here don't get a lot of attention. The closet borders near me got shut down years ago. (now it's a big lots).

Hey guys, been keeping up with the good news of great figure releases, just havent posted in a while. Does anyone know a better place to get the sdcc Goku this year for cheaper? I remember spending around 65 for Arlian Vegeta on ebay, but the prices are all around 100 + now.

Just wait until people can actually get a hold of it rather than looking at these BS "pre-order" prices. These are just people trying to capitalize on hype, not like they actually have it yet. Look at bluefin premium or something instead. They'll have it about a week or two after the convention.

I wish Awakened Goku's boot linings were painted yellow so it is consistent with this year's SDCC Freeza Saga Goku. There I said it.
