Just a friendly reminder: Bluefin Premium

That is all.

I just have a feeling that Bluefin Premium will be gone quicker than bloody BBTS. Toyz also said they have some to put up, but god knows when. They projected a price of about $85-90 which is more palatable to me than the $120 that BBTS was selling for. I mean, this has if anything secured that unless it's the ONLY place to get something, I'll avoid BBTS like the plague.

Just wanted to state something real quick regarding scalpers and these crazy prices. Scalpers ask a price and the buyers set it. They can ask $10,000 and if one person pays that price, there's a new market value set for it. Everything would be solved if we refused to pay the prices, but there's always someone that is willing to pay the big bucks and that screws the majority that don't have that kind of money to throw. Capitalism at its finest. The collector's life isn't for the weak of heart, nor the weak of wallet.

Well, I no longer have to worry. My buddy managed to get me one at the cost of his own spare. He only got a couple but i am incredibly grateful to him, he knows who he is ;)

I now feel sorry for folks who have to scour ebay and the like..... Good luck folks.

BTW, BBTS is now on my "never buy from" scumbag list. Taking advantage of ebay panic to price theirs? Not cool, especially from a supposed respected store. I can guarantee they most likely paid $60 a figure at most from Bluefin.

I'd like to "LIKE" every post you place, prodigy1367 D: Unfortunately, we're not on Facebook. :p

... That's it!

I see what you're getting at but it takes more than 1 sale to get prices this high for a sustained period of time. I'm hoping the prices drop to below $140 for me (after P&P and tax) if not I'll have to skip this one, not because I cant afford it, but because I cant justify spending more on this than I spent on my last few Hot Toys.

EDIT: Christ I type too slow for this forum, 5 people posted whilst I was typing!

I never thought BBTS would do that .

You mean like all the other times that they have done it? It's not a new practice, they've actually had a reputation of selling exclusives in chunks, and raising the price for each wave. Apparently it's a common practice they do a lot. :(
