They used to be, I can still make them compatible with act 4 stands, I just prefer making them for the obitsu stands and just bundling them together. Obitsu stands are a bit better, definitely have a better grip via the longer peg.

Can anyone explain to me with real words why a member must have a premium account just to speak about selling items to other members? Other than a money grab it makes no sense. I'm an adult, and if I'd like to buy things from other adults I will. Plain and simple.

EDIT: I'm not meaning to be hostile but it makes no sense.

Because there has been plenty of new members joining the forum in the past just to make sales and quite a number of them ended up disappearing without sending the goods. Plus, it's one way of contributing to the forum as its solely funded out of Dave's pocket (Owner of the board).

I think if the forum had some sort of sales feature then it's reasonable, like if the forum were more like ebay for example, it makes complete sense. But all sales are done outside of the forum, through paypal mostly, so I'm not sure how the forum thinks they can have control over that. So what you're really charging people for is the discussion of sales? Yeah, I can use my own discretion when it comes to buying things thank-you-very-much.

EDIT: I'm about 2 1/2 posts away from being banned. Signing off the internet for the day.

We try to filter members and encourage them to contribute more to discussion etc rather than joining a forum for purely commercial purposes. So far, it's been working as there's lesser scammers and the owner get some money back for his forum.

And in instances where scam do take place, the forum do try to help out to resolve the matter as well, case by case.

You can, the thing is Fat, the seller can't. That is to say what they can mostly enforce, and what is morally the prime reason to enforce these rules, is that they can ban people who OFFER their wares. That's why you need to be a premium member to SELL, NOT to buy. As a buyer you can do whatever the **** you want, and no they can't enforce that, you can PM anyone and ask to buy something.

However, they can ban random people offering **** to sell, who might be scammers and that is the initial point of it. Scammers won't pay to make an account because scammers are found out very quickly, usually, and have to disappear. It's a threshold. I get that. So yeah, of course they can't enforce it entirely, but they can enforce the most important thing, which is to moderate sellers who advertise openly. Essentially they're charging the SELLER, not the buyers. And as far as I know you genuinely don't have to be a PM to buy anything...

Charging people to use a site to sell things is completely agreeable to me. because the site delivers a platform and a community to advertise on and to – that is worth something (EDIT: like a TV channel for example). And the added value is that you do indeed support a site at large that you frequent, which is not unreasonable either.

Anyone can correct me if I'm misinformed but this is how I took the new rules when they went in a while back. And I found them agreeable.

Still alot though. Cuz when you convert to Canadian dollars, it's just about 150 bucks.

"Please Note: SDCC 2015 Goku and Sailor Moon there's a delay in receiving may get in another week or two sorry for the delay. Regarding pricing, we will have a limited amount starting at $99.99 then after that, price is subject to change."
