I ask becuase There is a trolling Meme circulating on 4chan's /toy/ board, wherein you take an EXTREMELY popular line, with a highly anticipated release, and post that " it's a shame the line/item was canceled due to such poor sales, but atleast they've promised to make more of X"

It started with the New Figure of Springer from hasbro, with " atleast they promised us more bumblebee repaints" and kinda went from there....


unfortunately, some people believe it.

I'll belive it when i hear it from Derringer, or see it on Tamishii facebook.

Can someone get the troll out of here? Bluefin would have stated long before now and would NOT have even given Frieza a release date, plus, Bluefin have already all but stated they have an SDCC figure lined up.

If you are only saying it because you were told, Goongala, then please for all that is good, dont just believe something and post it everywhere just because someone stated it was so.

Oh, and did anyone notice how a troll just happens to appear right after that guy got banned? hes been a non posting new member for a year, and has only just posted something now? weird huh? lol

It's also worth noting that comic shops are generaly are individual small buisnesses that tend to only use one distrubtor. Generaly Diamond

Same thing happened to Figma Samus and Link last year, for example. Knowing how Diamond works, tehy were likely trying/planning to import DIRECTLY from bandai, much like when they tried to import directly from Maxfactory.

Thing is, BLuefin already has the Tamashii imports exclusively for america. This means that Diamond would need to go through Bluefin... which would cost them more, and they likely don't want to do that.

Tell your comic shop guy to try contacting Bluefin directly about getting an account and ordering through them . that's what Derringer tells people to do on 4chan. I'm not sure how to go about doing that, but their website likely has the info.

Sooo, some small time comic book store has what could be called a glitch in his software, and contrary to what everyone here has been told, the line is cancelled? yeah right; when amazon, or better yet Tamashii nations announces its cancelled we will have proof, but a store saying it MIGHT be cancelled does NOT count, especially when there us no mention of it anywhere.

We have literally just been told that they have dbz figures lined all the way into 2014, along with a tease that a new figure is the sdcc exclusive. Tamashii doesnt just cancel stuff they let people know in advance, and every retailer includig your store would have been told beforehand. I will say again, a computer freaking out does not count.

Like Lerath said, your store probably just cant get the stock, thats all.
