I wish I had chosen to wait before I got Trunks. I've always preferred the longer-haired Trunks over short. Also I prefer the original Trunks over the premium color version overall.

Well you still have the faces of the original so no real loss for you, right? For me, I just dislike the shiny paint on the hair. I like the more pale super saiyan look. Also, you seem to have a lot of info on the SH Figuarts line so do you know when new figures are announced (if they are on a schedule at all) for both the DBZ and Naruto lines?

There is no schedule. New releases are given dates as and when Tamashii decides to, usually after a previous figure or two have been shipped. We still have Beerus, ssb Vegeta and Trunks to come, my guess is we will hear something when Vegeta is out.

Interesting; thanks for the information. Can't wait for more DBZ news and I guess I'll expect to see more Naruto news since Minato and ****shi were released. Hope it's something new rather than just Itachi.

Lol the Figuarts don't look as odd as that figure. I just think it all comes down to personal preference. I don't like shiny paint much at all on figures, especially on hair.

He needs a true appearance though, I think that's what we need.

As for PC Trunks, I just don't like the paleness, that weird line under the eyes. I'm contemplating swapping faces with the original for normal form. Mine is on BBTS but I'm waiting for my paycheck so I Can buy something else to ship with him. Probably Sailor V because I think B&N has failed me again, like with Sailor Pluto.

I can deal with the paler skin on the PCE Trunks but the squinty eyes, not so much. They just don't look right. Granted, I don't have mine yet, but I should have the one I ordered from eBay today when I get home from work.

Squint is a good way to describe it. The irises right under the upper lid with a good amount of sclera underneath is always going to be the best.

They just cant seem to get this new transfer method of doing the eyes right, they keep placing them too high on the socket, creating the "squint".

Tamashii really have to make the transfers larger or rethink how they are applied, because Trunks is a perfect example of not having enough transfer. I mean, compare it to the original and the eyes are literallt half the size.

That Trunks figure looks like he just walked in on Bulma giving birth to kid Trunks.

I used to love those figures. I'm glad S.H. FIguarts weren't around back when I was a kid. I'd kill these figures. Used to have epic battles with the Jakks/Irwin figures. Messed them up real good. Thankfully my toy playing days are up

Just make yourself think it doesn't come with the Super Saiyan Trunks release. If it's included, you'll be thrilled, if it isn't, you weren't expecting it.

Even without that head, we still have an amazing Super Saiyan Trunks release.

I hope we never get bearded Goku/Vegeta. It was a one-time gag in one episode. Hope they don't waste their time (and I doubt they will). I think they should focus on actual new characters.
