Just got done watching a live stream of the latest episode... probably the best episode of Super to date if I'm being honest. I loved it.

I imagine Figuarts Black is a dead cert now.

Honestly, Goku should just instant transmission to future king Kais, shock the ever-living crap out of him, then tp to new namek and bring back ALL the other fighters so Trunks can have a proper happy ending this time.


Black may just be the best villian since Cell, maybe even Frieza; I dont even care about the pink hair, he is pure evil and badass all in one.

I've seen pictures of a battle damaged non-saiyan goku, which Bandai has not made, correct?

So I assume it's just a head swap with the battle damaged Saiyan Goku and Son Goku?

Yup, most dbz figuarts have the same head peg so they are all swappable; the only different one so far has been armored Trunks with a larger peg than normal.

Oh, and a new rumor is surfacing about Zamasu and Goku black.

Trunks mentions in the manga that supreme kai was killed when Dabura and Babidi attacked, so with that revelation it can be assumed that Beerus died too, since they need each other to survive. This means they could have been replaced, and who better to replace them both than Goku black and Zamasu! Zamasu is the new supreme kai and Goku black is the new God of destruction in Trunks timeline, and it actually makes sense with Goku blacks ki being the same black and pink ki as Beerus. Only missing piece of the puzzle is that Goku black is clearly his own person now, so just who is he? A corrupted Goku, Gokus body from otherworld or something else?

Glad to see Mai is still alive so perhaps Trunks will actually get a happy ending. SSR (Super Saiyan Rose) looks better than expected and Black has been growing on me. He may just be an evil counterpart but the mystery behind him is intriguing and he's so different from Goku that it doesn't even matter that they look the same.

One gripe that I have is one that has been occurring since the beginning of DBZ. Vegeta. I was thinking at the beginning of this that maybe this ONE time, he may actually get to kill the big bad. Instead he gets whooped and taken out of the fight within 2 minutes. We see some small scraping and boom he's out for the entire battle. Now it will be Goku vs. Black and we all know how that'll end. I just wish there was something different than the tired formula of Vegeta getting beat and Goku saving the day. Yes, he's the main character but come on now. If Vegeta was gonna go out, it shouldn't have been this early in the battle. He's basically gonna be on the sidelines for the entire fight.

There is a possibility that Vegeta could come back to the fight though. Yajirobe said Korin gave him the last senzu bean but I don't recall him saying that he actually ate it. It may be that somewhere down the line, Vegeta gets this bean and joins back in. I'm hoping so because it was pretty screwed up how they did him dirty like that, especially so early on. Maybe this sounds like the wild ranting of a Vegeta fan but damn.

That makes a lot of sense actually. One possibility for the missing piece is that maybe Zamasu perhaps stole baby Goku from another/alternate universe and perhaps raised him to be as evil as he is and that's how we get Black Goku. If that were true that would be absolutely incredible imo.

Thats a great theory Prod, I kinda hope that turns out to be the case, a literal "ka ka rotto" then. Man, cant sideshow fix their censor to not include words WITHIN words? so stupid.

The animation itself is great, but the villain(s) i'm still not that impressed with. Again with the typical "i hate humans they aren't worthy so they must be destroyed" crap. I was expecting Zamasu's motivations to be something like attempting a coupe on the entire God hierarchy of all 12 universes, getting the other Gods of Destructions to join him & overthrow the Omni-King Zeno or something. that's actually something we haven't seen before and would've been unique.

I suppose that can still happen, but I doubt it. It'll prolly just continue as it is now, Zamasu wanting to kill every human because "arghh i hate them" & that's it. You can't think too deep into these storylines cuz with Dragon Ball the most simplistic explanation is most likely the correct one. smh

I hope they explain his insane power up too. Goes from being weaker than an SSJ2 to being god level AND stronger than Goku/Vegeta.

Vegeta actually comments on how he seems to have seen ssjblue before, even though neither of them used it on him before. It seems like Goku black may have travelled in time to learn their secrets.

She's pretty much a huge money grubber so it makes sense!

It makes sense, yeah, but it would have been a much better scene imo, showing Trunks she isnt the same person as the one in the future, negating the whole awkward end to that scene where he runs off.

Oh, btw, turns out Toriyama isnt just pulling colored hair out of his backside; ssj rose as a name is specifically because a black rose is the symbol for death! Makes a whole lot more sense now.
