No need for apologies. Welcome back, Orbital!

Thank you for posting the Premium Color Perfect Cell Out of Da Box video.

Edited: Not very pleased with Tamashii Nations leaving the face sculpt lines and the blackening the white part of his neck. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Perfect Cell 2.0 at some point, to be honest.

There isn't too much else they can do for Mr. Perfect Cell actually, unless they did his bulky form or did his Super form, which I think the existing Mr. Perfect Cell Figuarts is actually due to the Kamehaha.

The other two Cell forms are possible though, nothing really stopping them. By the way, hope you all watched Broly Abridged. By Kami himself, that was worth the wait.

I wonder if they're still considering releasing Shenron. like come on already. how can a DBZ collector not buy this

I agree. I'd also point out that the two other times Tamashii did a Premium Color they released an updated version of that character. Android Saga Trunks- Cell Saga Trunks, Android Saga Vegeta- Cell Saga Vegeta, so maybe Perfect Cell- Super Perfect Cell. Or maybe even a power stressed Cell, though that is a lot less likely.

Hey guys,

I'm a little behind on the news with SH Figuarts DBZ. I have a few questions:

- Is Nappa still slated for relase? If so when?
- Same question as above for SSJ3 Goku(repaint).

Thank you!

theres no news for those

Yeah PCE ssj3 Goku isnt happening, they showed off a 2.0 ssj3 Goku but theres no release date. None for Nappa either who got a new version revealed too.

Hopefully we'll see some scheduled releases in the February update of Shonen Jump. I feel Tamashii Nations, in general, is currently in a slower process of scheduled releases than other times of the year. At the moment, they are continuously filling their schedules up until June/July which is 5 months away so we could very well see more updates within the next couple of months.

Now that the Buu Saga is airing on Dragon Ball Kai, I wouldn't be surprised to see Tamashii Nations schedule Super Saiyan 3 Goku and Super Saiyan Gotenks before any of the other revealed prototypes.

I wonder if they're still considering releasing Shenron. like come on already. how can a DBZ collector not buy this

An S.H. Figuarts Shenron is a risky release from Tamashii Nations. Honestly, the only way I can really see Shenron being released is if it's through their Figuarts Zero or Figuarts Zero EX Character Category.

Exactly. Through those examples, I can easily see Tamashii Nations releasing a more updated Perfect Cell at some point in this line's future. There's nothing necessarily holding them back from doing it.

With Kai in full swing, I expect Majin Vegeta and some forms of Buu within the next two years. There's no better time to release that stuff than now

I'm at the point where it doesn't matter whether it's released in either of the S.H. Figuarts, Figuarts Zero, or Figuarts Zero EX Character Categories, I would just really like a Majin Vegeta at this point.

For me, it'd be a waste to have a Figuarts Zero since there's already the DXF in that scale that looks fantastic. I'd definitely get an EX if they made one but my grail would be an S.H. There's just so many great expressions and poses he could make

The DXF Majin Vegeta is very nice but Tamashii Nations' Figuarts Zero would, ideally, capture "the scene," whether it's the same pose or a different one, better with the smoke and electricity surrounding Vegeta. The sculpt, and quite possibly the overall quality, may also be an improvement over the DXF.

A Figuarts Zero EX version would be insanely awesome to have. I've been enjoying that line quite a lot but I do prefer more iconic moments and poses such as Super Saiyan 3 Goku and Super Saiyan 4 Goku over the poses that Future Super Saiyan Trunks and Super Saiyan Vegeta were in. They're still unbelievably high quality products but the iconic moments and poses have a lot more meaning for me.

I could very well be the only collector who thinks this way but Tamashii Nations should only release a Majin Vegeta S.H.Figuarts with battle damage. A World Tournament/Kid Buu Vegeta would cover a clean version of the attire that would include an updated head/hair sculpt for Super Saiyan 2 which could also be used for Majin Vegeta leaving Tamashii Nations to focus more on face accessories and battle damaged sculpting.

Yeah, I wouldnt say that Ang, in doing so you give tamashii the OPTION of doing so [emoji14]

S.H Figuarts or bust for me.

We should know by now that we aren't the ones who give Tamashii Nations the options. [emoji38]

Tamashii Nations should know by now the high demand for Majin Vegeta where they'll more than likely want to release that version through all their Character Categories. While S.H.Figuarts are their top Character Category, they could very well see strong potential in others.

For some strange reason, I can honestly imagine Tamashii Nations treating Majin Vegeta in a similar situation to Kid Buu, Super Buu, and even Super Saiyan 4 Goku.

No more riskier than Hulkbuster. And Adam Newman even shot down the idea of them releasing it as just a statue, saying that it's entirely possible for them to release it as-is. It's just a matter of when

Iron Man Hulkbuster was from the 4th largest grossing film of 2015 that at least 2 other companies have decided to release. While it was a very impressive product, it wasn't necessarily anything new for Tamashii Nations since a good portion of their products are mechs.

Adam Newman has been the main advocate for Shenron. (Along with many other products, licenses, and etc.) The struggle is getting it through the top executives who make the final decisions. At some point in the S.H.Figuarts line's future, it is very possible for Shenron to be released. (Edited: It's being tweaked according to a friend who talked to Adam Newman at SDCC last July and I choose to always see that as a good sign.)

I do believe that Tamashii Nations will listen to the market if it market voices their opinions through direct social media to Tamashii Nations. (Bluefin, as well.) All data is valuable but it needs to be directed towards them. I could be wrong, and I truly hope I am, but, at the moment, I don't see many demanding for Shenron. (Edited: I sent them a tweet. [emoji38])

Has there ever been a decently sized Shenron figure that's actually articulated? All I ever see are statues & plushies. Tamashii would be the first company to release an articulated version, which would be another notch on their belt of achievements :lecture

Concerning DBS, Gohan basically had a free pass to sleep with that actress if he wanted. This mini subplot of infidelity is something Dragon Ball has never done before, totally unexpected :lol
