I want to see a Hit figure from Figuarts but they are going to need to find a better way to do his jacket flaps than what they did with Xenoverse Trunks. The only idea I can come up with is to make the flaps rubbery with wires in them like those old Gumby figures.

That ssg preview does confirm once again that he becomes thinner, such a shame about that proto that SHF chose not to use, although the colors do seem to be good.

As for Super, I really hope for an SHF Trunks, Hit and 17&18. And a Krillin that is effectively both Saiyan saga and DBS, which is convenient.

Btw, Android 17 saving Goku was the best! I'm really curious what that Jiren dude is truly capable of. Also I liked the picture Gohan saw that was left behind. I think they're setting up something in response to this gross situation of a tournament.

I can live without ever seeing Super Saiyan God again. Worst form ever...

I assume he uses it because Super Saiyan Blue expends too much stamina but he needs a power bump up from SSJ3.

Him randomly deciding to go SSGod is kinda weird, considering he had absolutely no problem going straight to SSBlue in almost every episode leading up to the tournament. He went SSBlue when he was TRAINING WITH KRILLIN, i mean what was the point of that? Him going Kaioken SSBlue in the EXHIBITION match against Toppo. Goku went all out before the tournament, but now that the tournament has began he's holding back. Doesnt make any sense.

anyway, Gohan seeing Obuni's locket means 1 of 2 things: that it will make him fight even harder to protect HIS family, or him realizing that "wow these guys are fighting for their families too, there are no real winners here." Crisis of conscience perhaps?

Also, the Elephant God's angel (i forget their names) reaction to her universe's erasure, she was pretty upset, as opposed to that other angel, who didn't even care, almost relieved that his universe was gone. HMMMM.....

Good points crisis, but as you know...this is one of the minor inconsistencies that Dragon Ball Super has exhibited. I can overlook it for the most part, but this does go back to how much they've "nerfed" the Super Saiyan God forms. Suddenly now EVERYONE is on equal terms with what is supposed to be the most powerful Super Saiyan form.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe one of the DBS characters (possibly Goku himself or Whis/Beerus from the peanut gallery) commented that Goku/Vegeta wanted to "save stamina" during the fight...inconsistent to past battles, yes, but that's why Goku and Vegeta aren't going full Super Saiyan Blue immediately. Because they'll "burn out" too quickly (even though we've seen them hold the form for a while in other episodes). There was also a comment on how the Androids have "limitless stamina" and don't get tired.

By the way - I LOVE the portrayal of Android 17. He's been hilarious despite being rather stoic and serious. Him blasting the Love Maiden mid-transformation was hilarious! But an EXTREMELY smart move in the tournament. One thing I'm glad to see from this tournament is that the secondary DBS characters are getting their chance to shine...so "everyone" is doing something. Android 17 has probably been my favorite character during the arc so far...

You are correct too Bardoon. In fact they nerfed SSBlue so bad that they had to come up with yet another SS form beyond it just to make up for it, lmao

Is there really going to be another transformation after Blue? Wonder what it looks like. By the way, why is the color of the aura of Goku's normal "God" form (fire red) different from "God Blue"? I don't remember the difference or reason if any. Do you think Vegeta can get that red fire aura by himself or is it something only acquired via that "pure saiyan" ritual?

Well, while the manga is a separate entity with DBS, Vegeta has demonstrated ssGod a few times there, so I would say he can. Gokus new form has been teased in a promo poster and it's hinted at in the intro aswell. Black hair standing up, with red god aura.

I hadn't noticed the slimmer build yet! That's interesting. Maybe he's no longer a saiyin god, but an actual one, that is to say, he's mastered god ki without needing a saiyin specific form. DBS seems to do a lot of things that have been done in fan thories, western comics, other anime. Superman recently went damn near full on god mode as well, with rebirth promising even more. Shrug, just stabs in the dark.

Also if i counted correctly, 35 of the 78 fighters have now gone down. Btw the tournament is now only 9 mins into the 48!? Lol, no way everything we saw took only 9 mins lol. All the posing and powerups alone are like 10 mins.
