100% agreed. Goku had little to no character development this entire saga and was just hopping around from battle to battle losing stamina and then gaining it back within seconds. Vegeta had true purpose and drive to attain an actual new form and not just a fully powered up current one. While I’ve enjoyed this saga overall, the last minute Goku saves and sudden boosts have been pushing my suspension of disbelief even for DB standards

For some reason I'm expecting the end of the ToP to be anticlimactic. With Frieza nowhere to be seen im fully expecting Goku and Jiren to be at a stalemate and the time will run out, only for Frieza to come out of the shadows gloating how he won it for universe 7, since there will be two fighters left compared to Jiren alone. Remember, it's not last man standing, it's whichever universe has the most fighters at the end.

This whole saga has just made me want to see Jiren win.

Gohan was just another fodder fighter that didn't do anything... and once again Goku will save the day for whatever reason against a fighter you don't even give a **** about... you don't hate him, you don't like him. He's just stone for Goku to step over.

Vegeta has probably gotten the most development of any character in the entire series. He is the only one with an actual arc, and besides Future Trunks was the only other character that was even interesting in Super.

Vegeta > Goku

And I used to HATE Vegeta.

I was just gonna say they conveniently hope we forget Frieza, but **** me this would be even more terrible than what I could've thought of.

I find it weird how DBS is supposed to address Xeno just erasing universes. Like is that cool now? That's just how interuniversal life is? I doubt it although I don't get how one universe's dragon can wish back all universes.

Anyway I'm glad they didn't bring back a fusion and left that unique to the Black Goku arc, solidifying that that and maybe the first tournament are the only two real, new stories in this series.

Big Green 2.0? On Tamashii's IG it says we have to wait a lil while longer for the next update

Fully agreed with Crisis & Snake.

I was way more interested in Vegeta throughout this whole arc. And most of DBS tbh. All that emotional and character build-up and everything just for him to get shafted for the millionth time. I did like that he had a final stand/Rocky moment in this ToP though. But I really felt he deserved an actually new and badass form. Mastered blue is cool and all but clearly it's nowhere near UI's speed and strength. Can't help but feel he and everyone else gets shafted for the same boring old thing we've seen for years. I saw the way RoF ended as kind of meta commentary on Vegeta and Goku's dynamics as the major heros of DBS.

And it's also silly how if you remotely side with Vegeta (or any other hero-characters) over Goku or criticize the franchise, people in the Figuarts FB groups immediately hit you with a "Vegetard". Meanwhile they stroke each other off whenever the franchise continues to be predictable and stale.

As a longtime Vegeta fan, I'm happy he got character development and his current arc has nearly come full circle. Looking back at his previous self, how heartless and selfish he could be, it's remarkable how far he's come to a point where he's starting to care about other people like Cabba and U6 Saiyans as well his family of course. And his never say never attitude was ever present here, refusing to back down until he could stand no more -- that is the core of Vegeta's character, and not getting some power up to defeat the final boss doesn't erase the development he got.

What I am disappointed in is the Vegeta fans (or extremists) abusing Toshio (super writer) on twitter because they didn't like the way he was beaten up "a little too hard", or no new form given to him or any other fanboy fantasies that wanted to see.

Exactly what I thought once I saw the title of this episode. Hopefully the ending turns out to be more fun than that.

Even more Mastered UI... I really dislike the scale of the Shodo figures, but I may try to hunt this one down. I knew the MUI goku's would look great with metallic silver hair.

Wasn't SSB supposed to be White? I remember reading Toriyama saying that, but it would of clashed with the villain which I assume meant Zamasu.

That's what I thought awhile ago so I went searching for it. Forgot to post it. :lol

Toriyama:
In Battle of Gods it was red, so I figured for Revival of “F” I should go with blue. That’s all (laughs). Well, actually I was thinking about having it be white, but then it would color-clash with the “next enemy”… so I figured I should save it for another occasion (laughs).
