Oolong was more relevant in dragonball. He was originally a villain that could shape shift (like the pig from monkey king legends). Goku exposes him and he started hanging out with them. Not really a Z fighter and even less so then Choutzu ... more like Puar who is just there but Puar is friends with Yamcha. He actually doesn’t even shape shift anymore when Z started up.

I know well of Oolong and his story... In DB he was a favorite (hoping whenever he's packed in with someone he has the suit/hat look vs overalls) and I was just calling into question his list of missing Z Fighters when three of the four weren't at all... and what was more bizarre is that someone cosigned it with a gif.

Looks like I've got JP release bulma shipping Monday...Kid Goku and another Yamcha (with the demoniacal db hairstyle) also come ON Monday so a Dragonball display will be cool... even more want for an Oolong.

I had actually never watched all of DB until way after GT was done.
I grew up with Z when it was showing on tv in the early 90’s and so DB was boring to me until way later. You’d be surprised at how many people have never watched DB before (I have some coworkers that love DBZ and super yet have still never watched 1 episode of DB). So I kinda took you serious when you asked that, sorry TJ

Oh I get it. Depending on when we grew up or how we were introduced there's no guarantee of where anyone "started" with the series so no offense taken and I appreciate the kind explanation/knowledged offered regardless; it's the epitome of what forums like this are supposed to be about, man. Kudos.

Honestly, Dragonball Z was on Cartoon network when I was a kid but I didn't really care about it. As an adult when I decided to check it out I was in my torrenting phase and the one I downloaded just so happened to be Dragonball-GT and I just watched everything all the way through. Had I just downloaded Z it could have been a completely different story. Dragonball is definitely the series I have the most attachment to even though I like the Z characters the best and I think a lot of it is because of the pacing... things seem to move a lot better in the DB anime where Z just felt like it took 3 episodes for 3 pages of the manga.

That sculpt is just immaculate as well... they just nailed his silhouette... two levels of ab crunch... looks like his waist swivel is at the first ab crunch but it's pretty passable considering no toy does it at the actual waist with that kind of paint cut... this is just sick.

Shoulda taken a ruler when I checked it out at the Dragon Ball tour but it's a fairly sizeable figure. Android 20 on the other hand is pretty small

Great size for Buu, but still sad that Gotenks will stand at 2/3 his height, instead of around half his height like he should.
