That aura is a lot cooler than Tamashii's effect parts, Dex. Would be curious to see how well it would pair with a "pond ripple" piece underneath, kind of like an Evangelion AT field laid flat.

Yup! It might have been the GT Kid Goku --> SSJ4 Goku Kamehameha scene, but whichever scene it was, I remember this fantastic ki charge in which there was was the usual expanding column/bubble of energy, but also a flat energy field radiating outward along the ground. The effect was beautiful. The best way I can describe it without finding the actual scene is to compare it to Broly's ki charge over the pond, except instead of actual water rippling outward, it was pure ki...and on land. Lol

You can also think of it like the AT Field from Evangelion, but circular instead of octagonal, and on the ground, as if rippling outward from the bottom of the feet.

Combining this radiating ripple effect with the incredible ki charge you made would be ultimate.

Massive day for the collection today with several new additions, all arriving at once! And what better way of celebrating my long-awaited return to collecting the Figuarts line than checking off one of my all-time most wanted figures. The notorious Fat *******! Whom, I've been meaning to add to the collection for what feels forever now. On any other day, I might have given the chocolates to Bardock. Cannot express in words how impressed I am with the overall fit and finish seen on more recent releases. Light-years beyond what I am used to seeing, considering the last figure I purchased was Awakening Goku. These newer Gokus are pretty neat, as well. Chuffed to bits gents!

Excellent additions to your collection!

Bardock is phenomenal. The ear/scouter design could have been executed better but I think the idea was strong.

Man, they are really burning me out with these Premium Bandai releases. The first Tien figure was $60. Bought it with free shipping. This one is $80 and you have to pay $10 for shipping. Come on...

I think we're slowly going to drift away from the $60-range for new Figuarts with the exception being Goku mold re-uses. You also get a fully poseable Chaotzu.

Keep in mind you're also paying for tooling, molds, etc. Those are expensive costs and Tamashii doesn't re-use all that stuff all the time like Hasbro does with Marvel Legends.

Great news on them FINALLY finding their crate...been waiting on Kid Gohan. I already got UI Sign in the first batch.

SSJ3 Goku reissue appears to be a European distributor finding some more stock somewhere and shipping them to a few retailers. Some folks on FB groups have ordered them so we'll wait and see.
