They're so awesome man! I've never been a mib guy, otherwise I would get a statue if I wanted something that couldn't move, so my opinion, probably doesn't mean much. Either way, I hope you enjoy them!

I have all of those figures, as well as the Kuji Saiyan space pod, on their way to me as we speak. I should expect to have them in hand by sometime in the next two weeks. I will actually be posting pictures all Frieza's various forms, as well as the Jakks King Cold and Cyborg Frieza, for a pictorial size comparison. The HQDX First form Frieza is not to scale, but I do however own the HSCF First form Frieza, which in my opinion it perfectly scaled with the figuarts and your best option. I also have a HSCF Saiyan saga Gohan, which is awesome by the way! It too is perfectly scaled to figuarts and looks supremely amazing when displayed with a SDCC Piccolo. Scultures 16 looks really well scaled with figuarts also, and should make for an incredible Android posse display, once we have 17 and 18. I am glad I bought him, it was a good gamble and it paid off! Scultures Nappa, unfortunately doesn't exist. I am yet to find a perfectly scaled Nappa and am still desperately clinging to the hope of a Figuarts Nappa being released, finally!

Good info. Did you also order Scultures Cell first form and second form? It looks like they'd be in good scale with Figuarts Cell. Plus the detail on them is just amazing. Are you also getting Super Buu and Fat Buu? I have HSCF Gohan on the way and plan on getting the Kuji Space Pod soon, too. Please post pics once you get everything, I'd love to see it!

Toriyama illustrate Japanese facial features in his characters. The lines under their eyes convey the 'puffy' bottom eyelid that many asians have.
Cheekbones and jaw line are crafted in a very Japanese face shape.
Above all the eyebrows, thick eyebrows (that start thin near the center, then get broad near the edge of the face) are very common Japanese traits.

Our perceptions are irrelevant, go to the source and ask the people who created it, Toryiama already tried to get a mostly Japanese cast. Clearly that is how he envisioned his characters, and no matter what we think, that should be respected.

why didnt justin chatwin have a tail riddle me that!!!!!!!!!!!!!111!1!!!1!!!!!!!11one!!!1!

Because the idiot producer wanted to rope in dbz fans as well as db, so he took away key elements of db, and added in some from dbz that didnt make sense in any way, like oozaru being Piccolos pet (wtf?)

Its honestly like he quickly skimmed a few episodes and decided he wanted those elements without checking the backstory, and with fans like us, thats kind of important lol

I knoe you were joking btw, I just used it as a chance to vent over that abomination

That is horrible! I still refuse to watch a trailer of it. I saw it on TV many times in commercials when the movie was coming out, but I don't remember any of it. I probably changed the channel to find a better commercial!

Thanks for the info! I didn't know that! That's neat. Especially the lines under the cheeks representing the puffiness. I agree with you!

here is my saiyan line up without ssj3 and re issue goku because they re some where else. you can see how the hair varies in color. I thin my customs are closer to teen gohans saiyan hair color which is my favorite. I also love sdcc gokus color much more then the re release and ive gotten used to the hair.

PS: I also just realized I got 23 figuarts , and the only figure I don't have is manga color gohan which I might never pick up cus I got 2 sdcc which I def prefer.
:cuckoo:

I got

2 super saiyan 3 goku
2 super saiyan vegeta
2 trunks
3 re issue goku
1 sdcc goku
2 sdcc gohan
2 sdcc piccolo
1 manga piccolo
2 krillins
1 frieza
1 cell
4 saiyan saga vegeta

Awesome display! I don't have a SSJ Vegeta, but in that pic, it's hair looks the best to me. Although, you own the figure, so I trust your judgement!

his hair has a lot of orange that cant be seen in the picture, but I do love the white tips. I just prefer gohans cus its a richer yellow.

How much would you take for a commissioned Gogeta? $200? $250? Wouldn't hurt to ask, lol..

Excellent display dude. I can't wait to show off mine, but it's still incomplete ;_;

It's weird that Vegeta is anime colors, yet prior to him, everyone else was in manga colors but imaI2EAPEi2's pic works. I have SDCC Gohan and re-issue Goku and there is a pretty big difference in their hair colors. I believe I have seen the white tips in Vegeta's hair, back at the NYCC DBZ display

Goku doesn't look like that goku looks white in the cartoon . You know who looks like that ? Or Japanese .....yajorobi .

There talking dogs and cats and there's dinosaurs and the anime is Japanese but the main characters like goku , Bulma ,gohan vegeta , look white or Caucasian . Yajorobi and chiatzo(however you spell it ) look more Japanese .

Nothing about this guy looks white, his skin tone has a undertone of yellow/beige, caucasians have a pink undertone. We already know that Toriyama meant Goku to be Asian, so based on that alone he should be Asian. But if we must analyze his appearance, then ok.

300px-DBJ24.jpg

Black hair - most commonly associated with Asians
Straight thin hairs - most commonly associated with Asians
Puffy lower eyelid - most commonly associated with Asians
Thick eyebrows that tapper towards the center of the face - most commonly associated with Japanese
Angular or "V" shaped jaw line - most commonly associated with Japanese and Koren's
High cheekbones that protrude forward - most commonly associated with Japanese
Smaller lips - most commonly associated with Japanese
Light skin shade with a undertone of yellow/beige - most commonly associated with Japanese
Black/very dark brown eyes - most commonly associated with Asians
Ears...do I really have to say? Let's just consider how much our western comics emphasize ears, then compare that to DBZ.

If anything Toriyama caricaturized features that a majority of people associate with Asians and Japanese specifically. Anyone who studies facial anatomy would see these things easy.

This is what made the SSj transformation so odd looking, their skin changes white (with a pink undertone) and their hair changes color and texture, effectively turning them into white Asians.

To understand this, you must understand the social significance of skin color in Asian countries (not different races, but different tones of the same race)
People who had to farm for a living became tan from all that sun time, while the wealthy got shade (no tan). This began the association of light skin signifying 'superior' as rulers started coloring their faces white (this is why Frieza is all white, he's emulating those feudal lords)

A transformation into SSj wouldn't hold any visual significance if Goku already looked white (since Japan holds white skin in such high esteem, their fiction would reflect that).

It´s a Saiyan this is science fiction, I don´t understand why are you dicussing this, because Goku is a Saiyan, not human it is a E.T., he has black hair because all saiyan have black hair. And in the earth live a lot of creatures like person, as Ulong, Puar, dragons, droids, aand others aliens. Goku in the entire story is a Saiyan and he cames from Vegeta planet (like all saiyans), not Japan or caucasian country.
