Speak of the devil, mine just appeared on the doorstep, and I didn't waste any time opening it. A couple of first impressions, pics to come later.
Really impressed with the figure, right up there with Vegeta and Piccolo.
Range of articulation is the best we've ever seen from the SHF DB figures, fantastic range of motion around the torso and thighs, which means you can really go crazy on the action poses with a stand.
Tons of shading on the figure, even on the back of the neck, the feet and all the hands. (Rare for Bandai to put this much effort into a DB figure) One thing you might not notice until you see it in person, is that the black parts are actually kind of metallic.
And I can't believe every spot is sculpted in, not a single one is simply printed on, a round of applause for that.
The sex toy is very heavy for some reason, which means the piece is solid. But the ground blast effect looks cooler in person. There's a blue to yellow gradient on it, plus bits of rocks scattered amongst the Ki. I think I might just attach a Stage Act hook and have Cell floating on top of it instead of displaying an elevated dildo, until I find an appropriate ragged part to attach to one of the ends.
It better at least have the bloody cape or it really will be a wasted figure.....
