I only have Mewtwo and Charizard. They're okay but I just don't feel the need to complete the set.

I always looking into this same thing last night as i worked on cold. It is stated that frieza's final form is the form they are born in. Frieza developed the other forms to contain his power so it wouldnt cause so much strain on his body. Cooler on the other hand decided to ascend his form to get even more power kind of like super saiyans. Something frieza could never achieve since he developed forms to contain his strength instead of increase it. So cooler most likely perfect his "final form" and was able to take it a step further. If everyone in the frost race follows this theory then lord chilled was in his first form. As they all create forms to contain their power except cooler.

Any theories on Chilled? Assuming that was his "weakest" form (which resembles Frieza's "first" form), why didn't he transform against Bardock? Or maybe he couldn't, because he hasn't achieved the ability to transform to conserve power? Or maybe he does have multiple forms and just didn't have time to transform??

Even tho chilled isnt cannon technically i believe he was just in his first form, maybe he could have transformed but wouldnt have had enought time to do so, also king cold is in his 2nd form and if anyone reads dragon ball multiverse they have an interesting theory that if king cold transformed into his final form he would be as powerful as the androids and if given the chance could have killed trunks and goku ( all super not cannon though but kool theory)

I don't think any member of Freeza's race could transform back then except for Freeza and King Cold. Others later on might have, but I'd assume Freeza would have wiped them right after as he destroyed Planet Vegeta, getting the idea that someone even of his own race might surpass him. King Cold was no threat to him and he probably stroked his ego. I think he probably travelled the universe looking for races that might surpass him, and Beerus allowed it, to keep the universe's evolution in check. Less work and more sleep for him!

So Frieza's race (or should I say, family) is unique, in that they can "evolve & devolve" according to their power, so to speak. Interesting. In my own mind I always felt that the buff, full-power Frieza was him half-way to achieving a fifth form, similar to Cooler's. But Cooler isn't "canon," but we all have our own little personal "canons," don't we? ;)

I agree! I think the movies account etc. cooler adds a lot to the frost family. I still tend to disagree on cold being in second form. People like too associate him wit frieza's second form cus they are both huge, but to each his own :D. I do wish they would've added more back story to them. Maybe toriyama will do sow how he did with the androids?

@crisis I agree people are silly with it. It's helpful in some cases like Gohan getting his full potential unlocked through magic, and it's just easier to refer to him as "Mystic Gohan." Vegeta points to himself and says,"I'm Super Vegeta," so I just used it as a reference for that look. If you have work to memorize it, it defeats the point. When Trunks fights Cell, I just say when Trunks buffs/bloats up. No grade stuff or whatever!
Well, put, although I think after ssj1, 2 and 3, Ultimate is the only official canon title for an acquired state. Which makes it all hte more obvious Gohan was meant to be the last hero of DBZ. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Akira Toriyama had wanted to end the series with the fight between Super Buu and Ultimate Gohan.
Frieza an his race can return to their normal states, in the show when frieza goes into his final form he does mention that he hasnt been in that form for quite some time, so they can revert back to normal

Wait, wait, that sounds really awesome, but what of all of that is actually mentioned in the manga or the series? Movies are less canon to me because they're not Toriyama's (except BoG). SO if we just take into account frieza and king cold and what they state in manga or anime, what do we get? Cause that is how I'm gonna look at it initially.

On and nice picture reaper! I gotta get my old small pokemon figures out as well. That charizard though, I'll be damned if I ever truly regret not buying that. But it doesn't look like many if any other 1st pokemon will get made, does it?

Welcome to the "Sh#t that i grew up with" corner ^-^

@Silrian I like in the Shin Budokai game, it's the "Unlocked Potential" form for Gohan. There's a bunch of official merchandise with both Mystic and Ultimate, but I thought they were both fan terms. Ultimate is the closest to "Unlocked Potential" so I rather use that, but since most people on Pwnstar's poll used Mystic, I just thought it was easier. It's frustrating!

It's all just speculation on the Freeza forms. It's not in the manga or anime, so it's all anyone's guess. On my end though, Beerus is the God of Destruction and his duty is to maintain balance in the universe, but Freeza was doing a decent job of it, so he let him do his thing. He's godlike, instead of the Kaioshin! There's more to it that ties to the history, but I don't want to spoil it! So his job isn't evil, since he is saving the universe from being overcrowded, but the fact that he allows Freeza to go on torturing, enslaving, and destroy planets through spite makes him bad. He normally could just destroy inhabited planets or research to see which races deserve death over others, like the Saiyans, but the alternative allows him to be lazy.

Those are literally all the things I grew up with, apart from medabots and sailor moon, but I had heard of them. Next to dbz, gundam wing was my favourite show, then pokemon and digimon joint third! Power Rangers was before all the rest so it comes top, then joint top with dbz when it came along.

If you only want to take fireza and cold into consideration then we know frieza's final form is the form he is born in. He reverts in other forms to control his power, that's why when he is 100% he can only maintain it for so long cus he cant control it. We also know he can go back to each form ( this is before mecha frieza ). We have no clue if king cold can transform but its is almost certain. King cold is most likely stronger then frieza. Frieza states " The only ones who ever hurt me in this form (final form) where my parents " If you don't take cooler as canon then none of them actually mastered their final form and were able to create a form past it.

Ah okay cool. I feel little reason to assume Cold is in his second form than though. I think he's just clearly even sicker than Frieza. Which makes it all the more fun how Trunks brushes him aside.

@Bane I read somewhere that the term Mystic isn't what Toriyama intended but just at one point used it as a description from the pov of another character. For me it's Ultimate, it's the proper follow up to Super.

I did indeed blood, loved that show! Always had that classic anime feel to it (humor and action)
