This brings up a question, at SDCC, have there been exclusives that were completely new molds? Not from DBZ, but Bandai in general and other figures.

yes. last year the Destoroyah evolution set was a Tamashii web ex and bluefin brought it over as an SDCC ex

I'm concerned it's Broly, (I want Broly desperately, but not as a SDCC exclusive. That wouldn't be fair to the Broly fans that can't go to SDCC)
I want it to be Vegeta, that would be more fair. But I'm worried that it's not him.

The only way I would be cool with this being Broly, is if they re-released him with his alternate color scheme from "The second coming"

Keep the overrated non-canon garbage out of this line.

I wasn't attacking him. I just hate how in everything DBZ nowadays, Broly has to poke his ass into it in some form or another. I'd much rather them do another character from the canon.

imo the word "canon" has been nothing more than a burden and does nothing but divide the fanbase for years and years, I hate it. When people ask "well how does so and so fit in the timeline when this happens & it doesnt make sense blah blah," the only true answer should be "just don't worry about it." Have fun and enjoy it for what it is, sheesh.

Any character that's part of the DBZ franchise should be in the realm of possibilities.

There's is no 'should', there's a market and there's a company. That's all you need to know. The rest is nothing but majority rules.

Take canon out of the equation, stick to the actual storyline of characters and if they want to do movie characters AFTER then so be it. I just don't think stopping the line in it's tracks to do a movie character is the right thing to do.

Just because you don't like the character/design/concept/figure, doesn't mean that no one should have one. I didn't really care for the Androids, but I encouraged their development because I knew other people did.

Canon or not, Broly is wildly popular, and it would be foolish not to make him in some form or another just because there's a minority that would rather not have him.

The whole line wouldn't be "stopped in it's tracks" to make him, utter ignorance. We've been getting nearly 5 releases a year now, so what if you want to skip the 5th one this year or next. I think you'll ****ing live.

You don't have to buy him, Tamashii won't miss your money (because they'll have the rather large Broly fanbase that would cover it, and then some. Not to mention just the regular fans that can appreciate Toriyama's designs in plastic form)
