Usually once they get the figure in the studio lighting and start taking HQ pictures, it's already going to be released, Nappa never got to that stage, neither did Shenron.

hair looks smaller, and i wonder how they wil handle the weight issue, since ssj3 head isnt removable because of reinforced neck.

Why? Your theory that the ball will give an optimal mobility is great, i think the same, that way the shoulders and arms can be lowered as we wish.

because of weight, real ssj3 is very weighty and has a metal thingy in the neck, they probably got the hair to a manageable weight in a regular figuarts socket

I just looked at the price of the SSj3 Goku head (don't know why I overlooked it before) I'll pass if it's going to be that expensive for just a head. :/
