Somebody on the Facebook page is selling Scouter Vegeta for $130 shipped. I believe that's actually a great price at this time.

Yeah sad thing is gotta wait for my payments to come through and make sure peoples items arrive safely before I can spend a dime from my paypal account.

I know, it sucks being a late bloomer. [emoji38] I found an old picture through another forum where SDCC Goku was on the shelf for $40, Super Saiyan 3 Goku was $50, and I believe Super Saiyan Vegeta was $40.
Yea I could've had sdcc goku and ss3 for cost and I slept on it. Now I'm like 😕 lol

It's difficult to know what will eventually be expensive. I mean the line was barely succeeding at that time, right? Who would have thought Dragon Ball Z would become this popular again.

Yea now you can almost guess and be right as to what will inflate and what won't. DBZ is better to assume everything will so there's no sleeping on ANYTHING, I mean look at arlia vegeta. People butchered the fig but look at the price now and most people are like "man wish I would have snagged it" lol

That's what I was saying man; even if you have no interest in Arlia Vegeta, buy it when it's still cheap, wait for the price to inevitably rise, re-sell it, then use the profit towards anything else you need such as an SS Vegeta or Trunks. But nooo, don't listen to crisis!

Lmao!!! I said that also, but hey everyone knows best haha

About the detachable arms for 16: I've been reading on several boards how this is an "issue" and some people just can't stand it & lose their minds over his arms. I haven't noticed with mine, but really, what's the big deal. It has a defect so what, as does every single other action figure everyone owns. There's no such thing as a "flawless" action figure; some peoples figures have a loose joint, others have a paint smudge here n there. Figuarts Trunks will forever be "flawed" because his pupils aren't painted black. My Vegeta's scouter doesn't always stay on, some peoples Gohans have the shoulder part of his gi always sliding off. There will always be something we notice, but the good almost always outweighs the bad (especially with these Figuarts)

I still haven't opened up Arlia Vegeta. The colors are amazing but there's not much I can do with it at the moment. I'm going to hold onto it to see if Nappa will ever have an Arlia SDCC release. It may be 2030 by the time that happens but still.

Quoted for truth.

Edited: Even if some of these figures are "flawed," they're still the best damn Dragon Ball Z action figures out there.

IDK man... With the premium price that we pay for these figures, I don't blame people demanding perfection.

Although I don't own this figure myself yet, (So I don't know if people are nitpicking or not) there really is no excuse for defects.

Haha seems u and I think Alike. That's what I always say people always find out something to complain about but yet still keep the fig or end up buying it if they already haven't. To me its like state ur piece and move on and not dwell on the issue.

Thing is there will never be perfection. Look at hot toys, believed to be the best 1/6 scaled figs and they still aren't perfect and you would think they should be given their price, wayyyyy more than what we pay for our imports but they also have flaws. Like crisis said there will never be a perfect figure.

I'm not saying people don't have the right to vent.. but just know that whenever you buy an action figure there's a high probability it won't be "100% scratch-free" or anything, regardless how much you pay. Figuarts Avengers haven't even been released yet people are already pointing out how the faces look weird. The shoelaces on my 17 are sloppy & don't look anything like the stock photos. And yeah, Cell is kinda awkward & 16 could've have way more accessories. But as Angelo said, despite all the defects they're still the best DBZ figures out there, leagues beyond anything else that's EVER been released. You can't even compare, the worst DBZ Figuart is still better than the best Irwin/Jakks/whatever DBZ figure, and that says a lot.

His pupils arent the problem to me, his feet are!! i bought the figure less than a month ago for about $230 and i already have thoughts about selling it because of that. :gah:
But still yeah, basically every figuarts has at least a minor flaw but hardly any will even bother me.

Btw first post hello everyone :p

I feel that's the best option if you're truly not satisfied with a figure. It's an expensive yet easy risk because you don't "waste money" on them, you'll more than likely get the same/more amount back.

Speaking of Trunks, perhaps they shoulda made the manga version first & we woulda got the anime version as an SDCC exclusive. but they still won't release the manga version as the SDCC exclusive though right? Almost seems like a huge missed opportunity

Another possibility is "re-releasing" Future Trunks in Manga colors with improvements. Future Trunks 2.0.

Edited: I would like to see Tamashii produce other versions of Future Trunks, or any other character for that matter, before they consider 2.0 versions. For Future Trunks, as iconic as his "first appearance" is, the only impact he had was killing Mecha Frieza. He got his ass handed to him by both time versions of the Androids. I would like Tamashii to produce a version of Future Trunks that I could use in a display of him destroying the Androids.

BAM!

Are there any pictures/confirmations on how tall Future Trunks was post-Hyperbolic Time Chamber? My interpretation was that he was as tall as Goku.

Yeah the feet on Trunks especially are really annoying. Honestly mostly I use stands and flying or running poses with him. Or with on foot standing on something else like frieza's rock. Or friezas limbs.
