We arent ignoring you cartoon, its just I think we arent interested. The fabric on those figures just looks horrible. Plus, they are statues, instant turn off for me.

They're a weird sort of statue...mixed media (fabric + PVC) with head articulation. I like the numerous accessories, namely the faces each came with cause we've all asked for those with Figuarts, but I have no interest either. Also Deano is correct, the fabric is terrible.

I have to agree with the two gentlemen about the Dod line. The figures themselves arnt impressive and lack interest. That's just me. They're awkward. I dunno. Love to see a kid buu though. Then again, anything dealing with the little pink titan will always peak my interest.

Received Figuarts hulk and I cant believe there's no swivel in his arm. Why cheap out and his hip doesnt crunch. Sigh. They should of stuck with broly movements. Just alittle dissapointed

Shf hulk is the next thing I'm gonna receive in the mail. I feared that its gonna be lacking in articulation. Sigh...

The swivel is the major flaw in this figure and the hip only goes side to side. The paint is beautiful and the face is ok. Some hates it and some can overcome its differences than the promo. Tell us what you think about it. Dont know if thats allowed in this chatroom. The chat about a none dragonball z figure.

Dunno what sh figuarts is thinking here. Thankfully their Cap sounds like a solid figure. Gonna pay for mine this weekend.

Hey, its got figuarts in the title, good enough for me [emoji14]

I may see about starting a general figuarts thread like rangerboard has, that way people can talk about anything figuarts but still come here if they want dbz in particular.

But yeah, agree with Hulk. I just dont get why they didnt reuse Brolys articulation. They obviously spent alot of time perfecting his joints so its a shame other figures arent benefiting from it.

I can't speak to frequency but in principle I'd join that Big D. Thing though is, I'd make it a Tamashii Nations thread. SHF, Robot Damashii. Just the whole deal of what tamashii produces regarding action figures. The market share of figuarts is biggest I think so it'd naturally centre on that, but it'd be excellent to have a place where people who basically collect any of this stuff come and can trade info, pictures etc...

Especially the non-figuartsdbz threads for import figures seem very quiet to me. I think in fact that if we make a sort of common space for import action figures, maybe even include figma and mafex we could 1) get a great thread going that can give people access to people who know corners of what this market has to offer. Comparisons, etc. But also, to some people's delight here, would take away people's desire to drop that stuff here.

It could make a difference in taking derailing elements out of this thread I think...

Something of that nature can work. A combination of figures comparing certain aspects like bruce lee figuarts and the fima one can be discuessed at. I bring that up cause broly and hulk can be compared like earlier and I think its really cool to do so. But others may just want dbz news for figuarts. I hate to run into a angry poster just cause I'm mentioning something that has really nothing to do with dbz, but in a way it does have something to do with dbz. Something like a cousins being related. Haha.

I'm pro an 'Import Action Figure 5"+/- scale general thread' – all brands, but we know the big ones will dominate. Anything related to it. A place for comparisons, a place to go to when you're looking for stuff, or a certain item, or picking up a new line. A place to go to get your bearings in this market, find good stores for them. A gathering of the knowledge of all the collecters who tread this market, be it for all or for just one line. You could find out cool ideas for diaramas that you otherwise wouldn't find cause you don't cross the people collecting a line you're not. Same for effect pieces etc. Seems to me it should be a lively thread cause there's plenty that could be of use to anyone in this hobby.

Basically the Import Action Figure Hangout, centred around the big 3: Figuarts, Figma and Mafex (or am I forgetting one?). Seems a cool place to frequent to me in theory... Even if just to communicate about enjoying the hobby ad exchange knowledge with people you otherwise wouldn't see posts of.

Tbh I still don't see the reason why we can't talk about other things other than DBZ figuarts or dragon ball z. But if it has to stop I'm fine with that.

You forgot revoltech and mega house

What we really need is our own sandbox thread, like Snake has with his clubhouse, where we can talk about whatever we want. A lot less people would complain about us being off-topic.

There is a Figma/Revoltech general thread on here. Figuarts also has it's own general one. I wouldn't mind seeing them merged.

@shonen Revoltech, thats the one! I'm not really familiar with mega house, what do they make?
@Tblake I disn't know that but I think combining tamashii collectors with-non tamashii collectors would be interesting to me. Many of us compare between import already anyway (take the new star wars figures as an example).
@Fat to be frank I don't really need that.:lol Apart from a few surprising funny offtopic moments I'm cool...

Quick question, what posable Kid Goku Figure would go perfectly in scale with the Figuarts?
