Listen. I don't need to be talked to sarcastically like I'm some sort of child. He's obviously a classic Yamcha hater who disregards anyone that defends the character as if they've gotten they're feelings hurt. It's a troll response and mindset. I call it like I see it. The only thing that gets me pissed off is that treatment. Plus. From where I'm standing, the way he worded it, he called me a Saibaman like I'm a joke. Or what I said was a joke.

You totally took that the wrong way. We're just riffing here, man. Sheesh. You act like you know Yamcha personally or something. I wasn't making fun of you. I was making fun of Yamcha (and will always).

By the way folks (shameless plug incoming) but I decided to setup a youtube channel to review these things! Had some time so I built myself a review area etc! apologies for the lighting, im new to the whole behind the camera thing so still tinkering with it! First up is SDCC Frieza Saga Goku!

The first Goku looks bigger than the new one. Just some constructive criticism you should really show his articulation. Just keeping the figure in the same pose while talking loses the viewers attention.

Yeah, i had actually planned on uploading regular Goku first, but it got corrupted so have to re record it. I didnt want to duplicate the reviews so to speak. If i'm going to be reviewing this body quite alot I want to keep the "repaint" reviews shorter. But thanks, I appreciate it. I can only get better with it.

THAT is a good response. Thank you.
He may be a flake in some regards, but he has a pretty large sense of honor. Yes he's always cared more about being rich and famous, but he's always been there when he felt needed. Especially if he felt like he could make a difference. A child would need him. He COULD make a difference in that child's life and help it grow.
I guess we just have different views of the character.
Obviously the best thing for the story itself was for Vegeta to knock her up but I was never saying anything to argue that. Cuz yeah, Trunks rocks. Lol

I never HATED Yamcha, I just felt he should've been pushed to the sidelines a while ago. Buu Saga did that very well and kind of "finished" his story. He does serve the purpose as the butt of jokes and I do love him for that though. It's always fun to make fun of Yamcha since the characters even do it in the show!

I'd like his character to perhaps find a nice average girl to settle down with and just remain at the side living peacefully in some mountain somewhere since he's far outclassed as a fighter, let's be honest. This entire segment can take place at the end of the series of perhaps have a short segment in some wacky episode. Basically, I just want his character to be wrapped up. Regarding the other humans, Tien's always been cool even though he's just as weak (compared to the others) but he's always down for a fight. Yamcha just stopped altogether, can't have much respect for that. Krillin is cool too and provides some great humor and is also down to fight. Add to the fact that he comes bundled with 18, I don't wanna see Krillin (18) going away anytime soon.

Oh prod, I wasn't saying you man. I totally got what you were trying to say.

Yeah, I know, I try to never take things personally unless I know for a fact it was directed at me. I just wanted to give my two cents on the beloved Yamcha :)

People can hate him as much as they want but he's added some hilariousness to the franchise and that can't be forgotten.

Well, my greatest fear is that it'll become an all saiyan show. I want the humans on the team. And I want as many on the team as possible. Which means as the third strongest human on earth, Yamcha would be a given.

It's not my fault you mistakingly thought I called you a saibamen. All of your animosity towards me is because you misunderstood what I said. And I joke with people, that's what we all do. Apparently I can't joke with you, and now I know that.

Nah. I've kidded around on here before. I just don't appreciate being spoken too with a superior tone as if I'm insignificant. Even while joking. So what you really have is a clearly defined line I don't like being crossed.

Listen, either take it as it was meant, a passing joke at Yamcha's expense, or continue to interpret it the way you've convinced yourself I meant it. Internet folks can't be expected to mind the imaginary line that safeguards your ego.

The way I see it is as follows. DB was the humans time, DBZ was the age of the Saiyans, and DBS is the dawning of the gods. The franchise as a whole is predominantly a shonen franchise. To keep in that style, the fighting and action needs to be kept at a certain level. The humans have long since outlived their usefulness and with gods thrown into the mix, even more so. I still want the minor cast to be present but I just don't see them doing anything other than being used as tools of comedy or as dramatic plot devices. The tier of power is so dramatically high that no human has a chance of even coming close to being able to actually be useful in a fight. Hell, even Gohan who was once the strongest character in the series isn't even useful, although him and the other Saiyans/non-humans can still catch up if Toriyama so wanted.

What I want from the series is a good mixture of the Saiyans and non-humans to have epic fights shrouded in a solid plot with some good writing to boot. The humans just aren't relevant anymore in terms of fighting and I really don't see how they can be at this point. Yamcha specifically is at a point where his character just needs to stay as a cheerleader and be kept in the background as much as possible. It'd be a waste of screen time to try to develop his character, since I and a majority of people just wouldn't care. There's more interesting characters that could be expanded upon than Yamcha. Even Tien and Krillin are kind of finished in terms of character development. They're just boring in comparison to the rest of the cast imo.

Oh cool James McAvoy reviews SHF DBZ figures!:lol

Nice relaxed first attempt. Better be too boring than to nervous imo. Especially the comparison is convenient. I'm always disappointed when people don't do comparisons.

Still don't regret not buying this. Sort of regret not buying two original releases of normal goku.

Question: is there anyone here who might happen to not need their normal goku head that comes with the ssgss figure? Cause I'm very interested in buying that.:lol (Hey a man can try.:p)

Guys.... I'm sorry to break it to you.... But the animal humanoids were never real in the first place.

We see it all from Goku's point of view and he traumatically grew up alone after his only known companion and parental figure died. He hallucinates and has a very deep psychological trauma that makes him view the world as this weird place with talking animals and dinosaurs and women without balls. It's clearly genetic because after multiple severe childhood traumas his son Gohan has it too. Now that Toriyama's shifting to trunks and goten, the latter being less traumatised, we start to see things more normally.

This franchise is about the deep psychological trauma of children, it's Pan's Labyrinth ****.:lecture

On a serious note: did everyone's
memory of the buu events seriously got wiped out!?!?!?!?!?!

I could be wrong... in that case sorry for not getting it. But that meme doesn't really work as a response to something that's sarcasm, does it?

Tough luck I added 'on a serious note: [serious question]' only after it haha.:lol Sarcasm makes me its ***** a lot on the internet too though.:gah:
