Not really into movie figures, but Batfleck & Batbale are tempting. Wish they'd make a Keaton

The closest we got scale-wise is the Neca Batman

The promo shots of Batman are hella impressive, but let's not jump the gun just yet. The cheeseburger on the commercials always looks perfect until you see it in person

Normally I'd agree but Tamashii is usually pretty good with keeping their production figures close to the prototypes. They have a reliable track record.

The showed the rest of the production shots for Bats and gave him a price 5,800 Yen (~$51 USD). Pre-orders will likely be up soon.

I speculate that Bluefin will likely carry the figure much like they have with the rest of the DC movie figures (Suicide Squad, TDK). Mattel doesn't hold a "Master" license like Hasbro does with Marvel. They shouldn't, Mattel's DC figures are crap.

Sora actually got a price too. The figure is impressive. Glad to see that Disney gave a license for the figures to a company that can produce them at a REASONABLE price-point. Play Arts is ridiculous....

Square Enix never outsources anymore so I was pleasantly surprised to see this.

Tamashii Nations also has a special Kingdom Hearts page. It has King Mickey, Donald, and Goofy as other S.H.Figuarts. Hopefully this line does really well.

Justice League Batman sold out on HLJ, I believe.

Apparently Disney owns EVERYTHING Kingdom Hearts...even the characters who Square invented like Sora, Riku, etc. I was curious about it myself.

So technically Disney licensed KH to Bandai, not Square Enix. SquareEnix only owns the Final Fantasy guest stars in the games.

Personally, I do like Kingdom Hearts and the games are fun. But like most of Square Enix stuff, the story is a complete mess and it's getting lost in its own mythology.

That explains how Tamashii Nations was able to get a hold of the license. They're going all in for this series.

Damn I pre ordered Justice League Batman... hope for the rest too

Glad they didn't make sh figuarts Lord of the rings, i would be ruined :panic:

It's a damn shame Square Enix doesn't license their stuff
I would love to see some SHF Final Fantasy
Their Play Arts Kai line is way too big scale wise. You can't have accurate scale with 10+ inch figures because not every character is the same height, so you got figures in a specific franchise that will have be 13 or 14 inches taller than their fellow characters, which raises costs, etc. Or they can just make every character the same height, which is equally ridiculous

Which is why 5-6 inch scale is basically the perfect scale cuz character heightness won't be an issue. If a character has to be 8 inches tall then it's still affordable and doesn't take up too much real estate on your display shelf

They'd be stupid to license Final Fantasy elsewhere because everyone would just abandon PAK for the cheaper alternatives. Aside from their scale funkiness, the prices are just getting out of control. Hence why PAK keeps it to themselves, it's their big money-maker...and they own it so they don't pay any licensing fees.

If PAK starts losing money, or not meeting profits, then we might see FF licensed to someone else. Personally, I'd like to see what Tamashii Nations would do with it...or GSC-Figma.

They are starting their smaller-scale "Bring Arts" figures. Sora (from KH3 I believe) is one of the first releases...

Anyone know if the Mafex Batpod is a good fit for the new SH Figuarts Dark Knight Batman?
