Consider me intrigued lol; are these customs based off anything? Or just something you came up with on the spot?

just customs in my mmpr universe, i always wanted an orange ranger that was a dimetrodon , and seeing how all the rangers will be made, i figure why not make one rocky and the other adam to kinda like a dream team reunion , rather then two red and two black rangers.

Biggest problem with the Newest one, as far as i can tell, is the neck opening. it looks... sloppy.

The old, japanese one looks like it's a solid piece that slips over the actors head BEFORE they put on his helmet. the latest american one looks like it kinda opens, and clasps behind the chest diamond, on the right-hand ( the actor's left) side.

Yeah, I've seen it sort of lean or bend forward in many pictures. Looks very cosplay-ish.

It's a minor complaint and won't be a deciding factor and how good this upcoming arc is, of course, but just wish it was given more of a cosmetically-focused appearance.

I was charged for my white ranger from amazon.ca today, hopefully it ships out today so I can have it next week! I did see one out at a local collector shop and it looks awesome.

Canadians, if you're seeing these guys in local shops, what prices are they asking? I've seen these figures in two shops here, both charging $70 each. I would love to buy local but I can't justify an extra $25 on a $45 figure. By the time I complete the set it would be an extra $175.. no way

Im in Calgary, $55 CAD... Bought my third today, $45 is usd, well never get that at canadian retail, theres always extra, but $70 is stupid

I don't think they put much effort into the costumes to be honest. I think they paid a prop maker to make all their props. I just watched a behind the scenes video on JDF's FB page. He mentioned that Aniki had made the helmets. I know Aniki makes shields also so I'm pretty sure he made it for the show. If this is in fact true (which I'm 99% sure it is) then yeah the quality is gonna be eh. Not saying he's a bad prop maker but I'm saying its not as good as the pros. To be honest I know KingRanger's Dragon shields were a lot better than Aniki. Maybe he stole the plans from KingRanger or KingRanger taught him how to make them because they are a step down from KingRangers shield which were more accurate to the Zyuranger shield.

$55 is totally reasonable and if there was a shop around here selling them at that price, I would buy them there.

My white ranger did ship today so I'm pumped to get it, hopefully it will arrive quickly. Amazon.ca is selling the white ranger for $44.99 CAD, free shipping so that is actually the best deal available, I was charged $47.24 after tax. But again, I would pay the extra $8-$9 to buy local.

Do we know when the pink ranger will start to surface? I pre-ordered it on amazon as well and it used to say the same thing as white, available Oct 25, but that has since been taken down and there is no date. My pre order still says delivery between oct 31 and nov 6 but that seems unlikely now.

I'm just up the road in Edmonton, btw

Aniki did not make then for the shows, he makes prop helmets. He has been contacted by many actors from the show to make them helmets after they had left for their own personal collection (I know the Titanium Ranger's actor, as well as the Pink Ranger from Zeo have helmets from Aniki). So basically the ones JDF has are for his private collection from Aniki, but he does not make them for the show. I actually have a helmet from Aniki as well.

I ordered a GekiViolet from him but never got it. But I've heard great things about the helmets but I saw some of his props back in they day and they were less than impressive. For example his zyusouken was a recast of the toy dagger handle and a new modes blade. But again that was years ago. He seems to have picked his game up. I thought he supplied the helmets because JDF showed a table full of helmets and was talking about the Zeo 5 helmet he had in his hands. Who knows.

I heard the next round of releases was today (the 26 oct) if not it will be a few more weeks, weve seen a package shot already so it should be soon
