Yeah I always knew Burai died in the sentai. I actually just watched a few of the episodes in their entirety tonight. Pretty sad. I hadn't realized that when the episode was about to air in Japan, that they had actually did a poll where kids can vote to decide if the Green Ranger will live or die. They overwhelmingly voted for him to live, but the creators went and killed him off anyway. With Clotho and the skeleton guy who took him to the land of the dead, the imagery was pretty dark for a kid show.

Dragon Caesar has a lot more character to him in the Sentai. I didnt like that Megazord gave him a brutal beatdown, but still Caesar fought Goldar, Scorpina, and Tyrannosaurus right before Megazord and handled himself very well. Speaking of Dragon Caesar, how about the episode with him reacting to Burai's death and mourning him??

Where's you watch the episode from? I've been wanting to watch it for years now.

Yeah, I seen those when shukuenshinobi reviewed them; they seem cool, but I dont get why green only has a painted on shield, many megabloks have had armor before. I also dont get why white is missing, theres enough space in the box!

Because I have no idea what is considered the all-encompassing Power Rangers thread on the boards here, I thought I'd share in this thread.

iTunes recently added a BUNCH of Power Ranger seasons. They had all of MMPR - Zeo. But now we Time Force, Wild Force, Lost Galaxy, L.S. Rescue. I'm in heaven here!!! Check it out. The later seasons are pretty cheap. I don't own the big DVD boxsets and I'm not a big fan of physical media, so this is perfect for those of you out there.

We did the same thing with the dragonball figuarts thread; better to make these threads "all encompassing" as you said, or at least just linked to the source material; that way, the thread doesnt die in the times inbetween news and releases.

Any and all news is welcome to me at least, as long as it pertains to PR in this case, and if i had an iphone i would probably buy the themes lol.

Man, theres a discussion going on in rangerboard about which team they should do next, and someone mentioned kakurangers/alien rangers; it doesnt sound like a good idea until you realize who the 6th ranger was in sentai: NINJOR!

Now I know he has a slight chance of being made into figuarts, he has become my holy grail.

I REEEEAAAAALLLY wish they would do Zeo/OhRanger eventually… I loved those designs...

Unless there is MAJOR demand for zeo, we wont see them. Ohranger was to japan what turbo did to PR, as in it almost destroyed the franchise. Its a shame because ohranger just came out at the wrong time, just after japan suffered terror attacks and ohranger was too dark for people to take.

As would I, a gold ranger and red to add to the ever growing tommy set, but like I said, unless we really push for bluefin to say to tamashii, I dont see zeo/ohranger being made, it was too much of a flop in Japan.

EDIT: Btw, I'm a little worried Blue won't come with a long version of his weapon... Has Tamashii ever responded to this? Because I like him with the Bo-version of his weapons more (considering Yellow is dual wielding already, prefer all of them having a separate form of weapon).

Hmm, never realised that Silrian; I think I know why he might not come with the big staff; blue in japan mostly used it as two seperate weapons and only occasionally merged it into a staff. While not perfect, having the combine version could open up a chance for more blasters, as theres a high chance we might only get the thunder version in the rest.
