There is an abridged version by Megami33, who voiced Chiaotzu, Puar and Bulma. I think some other TFS members appeared, but overall it's ok. Not up to TFS strengths though

Oh that...OOOH. I forget that was a thing cause I never saw that far into the series. fake-lesbian cousins over regular lesbians...

Original Japanese is better than the English dub, but I think the original anime has aged poorly for the same reasons as DBZ, alebit worse imo. Crystal is better, follows the manga far more accurately, and its music is phenomenal.

I just saw these at midtown and wow! I love them the effects on the clear resin looks awesome! I want all of them now. BUT now I try to find them and ran into a problem. They now have the real ones from Japan and the bootlegs for sale from China at the same time. I can't tell the difference when the seller mentions China versions. But some sellers on Amazon is selling the bootlegs ones for close to retail and it's getting me worried. Once the fake ones mix up with the real versions is there any way to tell them apart? I mean out of the boxes. Do the fake ones say made in China on thier bases?
Does anyone own both real and fakes? I don't mind games but the quality, colors, and the clear resin has to look just as close to the real ones as possible. If the bootlegs are crap I don't even want them for 15.00 each. Any info on these real and fakes how they compare?

Love that Sailor Moon box.

I haven't seen the show since I was around 14 probably and it was the censored version. Does it hold up well as an adult? I'd be more apt to tackle it if tfs did a dub.

I'd watch the Viz dub if you can. It's supposed to be more accurate to the manga with it's dialogue and it's uncensored. Currently watching the DiC dub (the censored one) and it's pretty bad but it's funny bad. It's my first time actually sitting down and watching Sailor Moon so I decided to go with the OG version. Eventually I'll re-watch it with the Viz dub but for now I'm pushing through this one.

There's also Sailor Moon Crystal which is a re-boot akin to DB Kai, following the manga story without filler and with brand new animation. Different show really, but I'm watching that after I'm done with this one. A TFS dub would be amazing, so many hilarious situations to exploit!

Just bought Neptune and Uranus. I'm going to stop there with the Scouts, i've got the original 5 and those 2, don't care for any others.

But i will pick up Berryl [sp?] and some other of the female villans if they ever get made.

Mercury's bow is so short, it's barely changed...I don't think the original had earrings though

That said...better get new face plates with this one, and accessories. At least they have the heart broaches

Anyone here ordering the gathering painted 1/8 sailor moon? There's 2 versions on by herself and one with the baby. I believe they are 110.00 each not including shipping.

Yeah the bow definitely should be a bit longer. I always thought the Super Sailor Scouts design was so lazy. Sailor Moon gets this fantastic new outfit and they get a longer bow and slight other modifications lol.

Hopefully after they're done with these quick retools (with hopefully new faces), we can see the Sailor Starlights and some villains. This line is in dire need of villains, Zoisite barely counts [emoji1]

Just ordered all 5 Figuarts zero sailor moon figures. Kind of pricey because I only wanted the real bandai versions. I've heard the knock offs has not as vibrant colors and some small flaws so I didn't want to risk it. It took 3 days to hunt down all official version and gave me a big headache with so many knock offs and even a few the not so honest sellers tries to fool some buyers. I drilled them and they finally told me yeah they are from China so vague. I had to buy them all from different sellers who had the real versions. It was about 500.00 for all 5 of them.knock offs would have been about 80.00 for all of them

Amazon has them on sale at times, but still like $75-ish, sometimes without free shipping. I only have Mercury, who I bought for $80 after a crunchyroll sale and shipping...I only want Mars though, I don't like the paint and poses on the others.

Anyone have these? I can't decide whether I want these or the Figuarts Zero ones. They're both 1/8 scale but the Megahouse one's are cheaper and from 2003. They actually look pretty good though...

Edit: Nvm, not cheaper but still, they look good even though they're older figures. I have yet to see both the Figuarts Zero and these together.

If I'm honest I prefer Figuarts Zero as they look more Anime accurate and they have the cool effect parts. These look cool as well but I would't bother with them

Ah yes, I was refering to the Figuarts zero figures. Those are very pricey now unless it's the bootlegs. I wanted all real only because I heard the fakes have no as vibrant colors. I bought mines from ebay. It was still the cheapest I can find. The Mercury was like 120.00 the lowest I saw from Japan.
