Love the pics! The lighting is super cool.

This is my attempt at splicing the pics together. I know there's not too much of a point to guess when we'll get better photos soon, but someone asked on another forum and I went down the rabbit hole haha. They definitely have stretched Chewie out, so I'm very curious to see just how much taller it makes him!

Edit: The 3 photos were all taken at different angles, so no clue how close this may or may not be.

Tusken raider, IG-88 and the probe droid. I would absolutely love 1/12 scaled vehicles such as the land speeder.

This actually brings me to my question: how does Hasbro's tie fighter scale with SHF? I wonder if I should buy it in anticipation of eventual FO tie fighter pilot from SHF.

Probe droid is my favorite umm droid....There hasn't been a revision since the POTF 97-98 version in scale w/the 3 3/4 inch series. I rather if Hasbro releases the probot in scale w/the 6 inch line instead. It would be about 10-12 inches tall in scale? :dunno

Have pre orders in for R1 Death trooper, R1 stormtrooper, R1 Scariff trooper and Han.

Just put in a pre order for Chewy on amiami.

I ordered Chewie as well but I really question if black series is actually better.

You know, you may be on to something. I have the BS Chewie and he's nice enough that I display him with my Figuarts/Mafex stuff. Chewie isn't really a character that needs a lost of crazy articulation.

Why would you prefer Hasbro than SHF to release it? Pricing?

I would love to see any overseas co. release this droid but.....:dunno To be honest, I don't think SHF will consider the probe droid......:monkey2

I hope I'm wrong...Germtop. I don't mind the price. I will have to consider not purchasing other figs from the line.

That Rogue One Vader looks damn good. If they've solved their QC issues by then (and I bet they will considering each release seems to be getting better and better at this), this will more likely be the perfect 1/12 Vader for quite a while. If Figuarts ends up doing a V2, that would be awesome but if their track record is anything to go by he will still be too small.

Robo has a review of the ROTJ Boba Fett up now on The Fwoosh YouTube channel if anybody is interested.

Not a chance, Bandai Kit is still best, followed closely by the new BS Vader....

New Mafex Vader would compete if the proportions weren't all wrong, but the helmet is near perfect.

Bandai Kit takes some work though to get it to look good. And that stupid plastic cape.... The model kits are quite good though. I only have the Stormtrooper, C-3PO, and the R2/R5 droid pack, but I love them all a lot. I just hate applying the stickers (I'm no good with paint) and I don't like how they don't feel as solid as a regular action figure.

I would need to see the new Black Series Vader in person. Black Series is still Black Series. Not bad for mass production but imports are always better.

Well for what I've seen takes like 20 minutes of work and it's fun work, and the results tend to be amazing, but yeah the only downside I can see so far is that they're super light because of the hollow plastic, but I personally don't mind.

I agree with you on BS, I'm always first in line for talking crap about the BS, I hate their production quality, but there are a couple figure, usually the ones that require little to no paint, that end up looking fantastic, new Vader seems to be one of them.

I also agree with you about imports, it's just, well Mafex :lol and those teenager body proportions.

Wanted to share my haul from today. Member Gearhart121 with Smugglers Den Customs unveiled his sorcery on these Figuarts 104th "Wolfpack" Clones. Oh man. Sooooo stoked. Phase 2 buckets and jetpacks to follow soon! And then... Commander Wolffe and Plo. :horror R7-D4 courtesy of Member BARF from the Rebelscum forums!

We have known about mafex Rey for quite a while :p

2016-Medicom-Mafex-Rey-2.jpg

I look forward to the Rey..believe or not despite what people are saying, I like my Mafex WW and it's the best Film version WW 6" out so far so I think Rey should be a fun piece too to own. :lecture

Now back to SW. Saw the YT reviews on AOTC Obi Wan..not a bad figure for old Mullet head :wink1:

Working on hoth trooper sculpt based off the battlefront model as a base mesh, it's the most appealing of all the suggestions you guys gave.
