Just ordered both droids on Nippon Yasan.

Chewbacca on pre order with amiami, Han should be delivered today, and I just got my Rogue One troopers last week.

I would have liked to get my preorders in with amiami or cdjapan which I use for all the non-exclusive stuff, but they were sold out. Totally forgot about them going up. I had to use NY which I use commonly for the exclusive figures.

Btw, anyone else dealing with that- I paid with my card and so it just authorized at first. Now even though the order has been cancelled for 2 weeks, the payment posted on my account yesterday. I decided to not put in my droids PO with them

Cool! I just ordered a second R2 from YN. I love R2, and wanted one to keep in the box and one for display. And now i can see who ships it out faster

it was also a few dollars cheaper

Really happy I checked this today or else I would have missed out on 3PO and R2. Snagged em both from NY. Really kinda annoyed that these are full price figs given their limited articulation and accessories. SH should have kept it as a 2 pack.

Also, due to the idiotic decision to only package Specialist Death Troopers with the JPN Bluray forced me into getting the model kit. Half way done with it and honestly (depending on final articulation) its a fine replacement for a quarter of the cost.

Since these are eligible for the pay later option, is it possible to cancel items from them if you change your mind? I've never ordered form Nippon Yassan. I usually go through HLJ or AmiAmi. I know HLJ lets you cancel, but AmiAmi doesn't like it and could penalize you later.. I want them, but it's tough collecting both these and 1/6 Hot Toys & Sideshow Star Wars figures also, and don't need every character in both scales. Just my favorite/iconic ones, and these guys definitely fit the bill, but I do have the OK Hasbro Black Series figures... It says on the site that if you don't pay within 15 days of their email notice, they'll cancel the order, yet it says you can't cancell orders?? I guess only they can? Thanks to anyone that can answer Nippon Yassans cancellation policy

I've had a couple of cancellations and I believe one was for non-payment.

If memory serves well I contacted them about the other one but I can't be certain.

I definitely agree that the droids were over priced. It was a cash grab/cop out for sure.

That being said, they do look good and I'm happy I snagged both pre orders at work today.

I checked the thread today at the perfect time as well.

Now for that 1080 Ti pre order...

why is it a cash grab/cop out? as a set, they wouldn't be much cheaper. The Mafex set retailed at $92 USD. SH Figuarts 3PO is $56 USD & R2 is $39 USD retail. So together they are $95 USD if you go by their retail price.

$3 difference. Not much of a cash grab.

Granted Mafex set has a few more accessories, but the SH Figuarts will probably be a little nicer overall. Have to wait and see final product.
