I quite like that because it looks more like Peter Mayhew's costume. Articulation doesn't bother me that much, after all, Chewie was hardly Bruce Lee. If he can stand and hold his bowcaster that will do me.

wht i like most bout SHF chewie is it looks good with my han of choice the SHF, even with a repaint IMO the BS looks odd next to han. will make him taller with the foot mod tho i think for sure. is the bottom of his feet sculpted or flat?

I think the problem with BS is mostly that the face sculpt looks nothing like chewie. The feet on the figuarts are flat and have the toe tilt thing

Hey people, gutted that I've missed out on pre-ordering padme! Left it too late and all out of stock on nin nin, cd Japan and Nippon. Never missed any of them before. Is it likely that more of them will come back in stock closer to release date? Or am I now looking at paying a premium?

Try MyKombini or eBay. I've been able to find all the SHF I've wanted long after any pre-order period has ended and prices have been reasonable. Just shop around.

They usually get in much of what anyone else does eventually. On the surface they may seem pricey, but, they had to factor in the import costs and VAT, which, by rights, you should be hit for anyway, and once you take that into account, they become quite reasonable. Also, once they are in you get them in days rather than weeks. I got my 1/6 Stormtrooper from them and I can highly recommend them. They also have an eBay store.

Thanks man! Yeah eBay's prices are pretty pricey. I'll keep my eyes out for that idtoys to see if she comes in on that, the prices don't look too severe. Fingers crossed they'll come back in stock on the main stores nearer the time too!

Got my Chewie from MyKombini. Took 13 days to ship. Cool figure. Now we need Leia to complete the Millennium Falcon crew, after C3PO & R2D2 come out.

Pictures don't convey how close the plastic on Chewie looks like actual fur. It's the best i have ever seen.

A milestone achievement.

Which is funny considering the problems on human heads. (gold)

Chewie took a header off my shelf only a few hours after being up there. Thankfully no damage. Pretty long way down, so I got lucky. Face went flying. That's probably my only issue with the figure. The face comes off very easily. Maybe that's because of the strap from his bag.

You could probably get them both on Amazon, though Chewie seems to have just started popping up there, so high prices.

I really didn't expect Chewie to sell out that fast, considering you can still easily get Han....

If I had been not even a week sooner I would have been fine, but those prices are hard to swallow.
