Robes period can, any black material is dyed, its a risk eith any fabric, id wash it just to quell the possibility, cause getting dye out of figures is near impossible

Right, I'm with you. I was just wondering if you were speaking from experience with these particular robes!

I don't think so..I got them on ebay. He's in Maleysia, took about a week or so but well worth it IMO. His prices are great for the quality you get IMO

Good pictures indeed, the inner garments I'm not really feelin personally, but the outer mantle is great. Makes me very hopeful and excited finding a good brown robe for Obi.

Also with this picture – I'm not a 1/6 scale collector – but I initially thought it was a 1/6 scale figure being displayed for comparison.

It might just be my eye's limitations, but half the time I can't tell the difference anymore between a 1/6 scale head and one of these sw figuarts close-up photographed head sculpts. Pretty great.

Because it's simple..Figuarts and Tamashi wants our money but unlike Hasblo, they care about what the collectors and fans want in an 1/12 figure. They make it so we feel we get our money's worth.

Not just SW, Marvel, DBZ, Power Rangers or Super Sentai, etc the list is endless.

I'm glad Disney took over the SW franchise, I've been waiting for these figures to represent the characters like this for years

The luke really does have one of the most impressive heads I've seen at these smaller scales. The likeness and quality is great. I hope it's the same for obi and the rest of the line.

Along with a new ROTS Obi-Wan thats my list too... Expecting a Luke sooner or later but not thinking about the other pair unless it happens, think its gonna be OT and Ep7+ with HT for the time being.

Theres hope for SH Figuarts versions though!

Qui-Gon, ROTS Anakin, ROTJ Luke, Phase II Rex, Echo and Fives, and Capt. Fordo are at the top of my wish-list.

Maybe Wolffe and some of his wolf-pack guys.

Yeah, waiting always sucks but at least the 3 month turnaround time for these are alot better than the ~year wait for Hot Toys. Not counting TFA stuff because it seems like the Hot Toys and SHF's will release around the same time.

I don't blame HT. They tackled too many franchises all at once, never mind the patented movie licenses, but Marvel, SW, not to mention now you add TMNT and Transformers to the mix with possibly squeezing in some game licenses here and there.

Not to mention the pursuit of 80's nostalgia like Robocop and BTTF releases.

I'm surprised they can release these as quick as they do.

Figuarts are amazing since my very first one I collected from them, believe it was the character from G Gundam. But they have never disappointed me in detail and authenticity from the source. Maybe at first the joints on the very early releases of the Kamen Rider series were not that best designed but they have since refined their product

Id say my wish list after Han and Luke from new hope( already seen), would be boba get, leia( new hope), lando( either), snow trooper( classic and tfa). Just for starters!
