That's funny considering how unpopular the character is in the movies.

Anyway, sold out in a couple hours on AmiAmi. I thought about buying it but when I was done it was gone.

I think in general, a lot of people didn’t like him because of the actor and the general drop in quality of the PT films. I watched them again recently and whilst some of the acting and story telling is pretty poor in comparison to the OT, they’re still good stories and did the job of completing Anakin’s story. And the final battle is still one of the best lightsaber battles of all the films in my opinion.

If I’m honest, EP3 has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. I love the finality of it.

No, I just got into collecting SHF not too long ago so I’ve never really dealt with overseas companies. But that why I also ordered from bbts just to be safe. If nin nin does come through then I got Anakin for $57 shipped. Thanks for the info

They are notorious for cancelling people's orders months after ordering. Surprised you haven't heard

I’ve used them for a few years now without any major problems. The only issue I had was the special edition AOTC Anakin being downgraded to standard and being told I was lucky to get that when I complained. That one negative is far outweighed by every other purchase.

BBTS.com has him for $75

Since it is a regular release will Bandai just make more like Hasbro does or does Bandai just make a fixed amount and once it's gone it's gone?

For regular releases, they basically do a "run" of figures for online and B&M stores. They can from time to time do re-releases of regular releases like the recent Jedi Luke. The biggest difference with web exclusives is that once they're done, they're done. They make as many as are ordered for a few months, but once that's done, that's it. They don't do re-runs of exclusive figures.

Are there two versions of this Anakin or do they all come with the three different faces? Talking about losing out on the last Anakin angry face ha got me worried!

So if you order a Japanese exclusive from BBTS it’s the same exact packaging as if you bought it from a Japanese retailer, in the brown shipper?

Well, Jedi Luke became available again from Nin-Nin.
I've heard about their tendency to cancel orders, but at least I have a chance of getting a Luke for a good price and if they do cancel my order, I'll just get my money back and look elsewhere, so I ordered one.

Anakin isn't an exclusive anymore, he's a regular release. No brown shipper. But either way BBTS's release is the Japanese release, so it's exactly the same.

Meh. This is the way the line seems to be going. Low effort releases and no humans. Reason I sold my R1 figures. My ST figures will follow soon if we don’t get Han, Poe and Finn.

Wake me up if we get Han, Lando, Beckett, Qi’ra or Enfys.

Man it's pretty dramatic to say you're going to sell everything just cause they didn't yet make the figure you wanted.

end of may

I cancelled my order for him at bbts. I couldn't justify that much for such a barebones figure, that kinda misses the Mark when it comes to Hamill's likeness. Especially considering Ragnarok Hulk comes out that month too, and Raganarok Thor not being that far behind.
Honestly I have to disagree, the figure head looks really incredible, however I would have rather gotten a figure from on Crait, however that simply doesn't exist yet.

It is perhaps too early for Bandaï Japan ... They adopt the "wait & see" attitude since the relative failure of TLJ

LOL! Kinda funny that you can say TLJ failed, when it smashed at the box office and with fans alike. Except for the few who are busy complaining online because it didn't turn out like their fanfics said it would.

I did not know. Thank you for the information ...
