I'm not familiar with Figuarts release practices, so does this reissue take the place of a new pre-order? I noticed that when they re-released Vader, there were no new pre-orders that month.

That's awesome that they are re-releasing the Luke figure for those who missed out the first time. It's also good news too that they know that these figures are popular enough to warrant a second production run, which bodes well for re-releases of other popular figures that they make in the future so that there are plenty to go around.

So in all seriousness, why do you think they haven't re- released the storm trooper? I mean it's a troop builder type that sold out. Think they are changing it before they rerelease or just don't plan on it? I mean vader and now Luke are being rerelease, so it seems weird. Any thoughts?

I'm sure they will re-release the Trooper eventually, they are probably just staggering their schedule so they don't have a ton of figures coming out at the same time. Although not an army builder, I'm sure Vader was a more popular figure so they are re-releasing him first. And with the wild success and sell-out of the Luke figure it makes sense to re-release him while he's still fresh in peoples minds.

For a re-release though, I seriously doubt they would change or retool anything about the figure.
