I'm bummed now. It's a lot of money to waste on a figure that's gonna look so glaringly "off" and cheap.

What about all those promises of movie accuracy???

I guess I'll know tomorrow how bad it is. But it looks pretty lousy.

Reminds of how disappointing the Figma RoboCop was after months of hype...and then it arrives, and not only is the holster a non-functioning, swap out piece...but that face. That little cartoon line smile of a mouth. So insulting after putting down good money in a pre-order. Ugh.

That is a bummer does anyone know if the top part of the dome is removable if so I can alway airbrush the inside of the dome to make it movie accurate, it just doesn't feel as creepy with a straight see through dome luv the Subtle approach with the cloudy white dome and just seeing the skull peak through..... Don't know if I should cancel my pre order

I say it will be just fine in hand, you can't go by most pictures, figures always look best in person. I will have mine next week.

Is anyone willing and able to post a comparison picture of the SH MonsterArts Wolf Predator and the NECA (new) Big Chap? I'm trying to get an accurate sense of scale before I pull the trigger. Trying to do it without having them in-hand is kinda driving me nuts. And it's not very accurate, lol.

^^^^ Not home at the moment but there is A BIG difference in size. SHM Wolf Next to NECA Big Chap, Big Chap dwarfs Wolf. Wolf is about 5 (?) To 6 inches(?) And Big Chap is about 8 inches. Give or take

I'm kinda counting on it, hopefully. I think the MonsterArts Aliens are way too small compared to the MonsterArts Preds. I guess I always figured the Preds were 6-7 feet tall, and the Aliens were more like 8-9 feet.

monsterarts wolf predator is 7 inches tall and neca's new big chap is 9 inches tall , it's too big of a scale to go with monsterarts wolf pred.

Canceled my preorder I saw that review on you tube, I just can't get over how clear the dome is it's a pass for me, damn I was really hoping shma would get this one righ

How hard can it be to fix? Anything stuck on with glue need only the right amount of heat and pressure to be removed.

But then again...i guess for that price you really shouldn't have to fix it yourself.

Good lord this thing is a POS.

Good news is the dome pops right off. Bad news is, so does everything else. It's a fragile floppy mess. The head and neck fell apart and I can't get it back together. I think I'm gonna return this thing. IT SUCKS.

Aww man that sux I'm glad I canceled my pre order might pick it up later but I gotta fix the transparency of the dome but as of right now I dunno

Yeah the mass produced figure is a piece of garbage. I doubt it can hold a pose long enough to be animated.

I figured "what the hell?" and deicided to paint the dome. All I had was a semi-gloss black, so I put it on the underside of the dome. It's a solid black now...unfortunately, no transparency.

I'm waiting for it to dry before putting it back on his head...it'll look better than the completely clear dome it came with, but it should have just been transparent black like the prototype. Now my figure will actually look like an alien but I'll lose ALL detail of the skull.

Hope to see more in hand pics, but IMHO the go-to person in terms of sculpting aliens is Tankman.
You just can't beat his sculpts.

yes great sculpts by kyle, only ruin by neca's cheap factories and material and sorry QC.can't seem to win for losing.
