Gonna be honest, I don't have high hopes for this . I'm just going to make a blanket prediction, and say, the original MMPR movie is going to be like Shakespeare when compared to this. When I think about "teenagers with attitude" in 2016, emo hipsters come to mind...

Instead of the skydiving scene, you'll see a lone, unemployed teenager, locked away in his room, trolling away on SSF about the Star Wars prequels and ironically questioning people's employment statuses . That kind of guy's cool enough to be the White Ranger! I'm sure his Lizard Squad buddies on 4Chan would fully agree.

Needs to be in the middle. It can't work without a slight bit of cheesiness. I just hope they use the old school music. That alone, could carry for the film for me since I don't have any faith in the cast.

That's my hope, too. Power Rangers was never serious, but it needs to be a fun entry, at least...

I will watch it regardless. I will predict that it's better than the new Fantastic4 movie. It will incorporate comedy with some drama. I hope bulk and skull cameo. Those guys always made me laugh.

I wasn't a huge MMPR fan growing up - a little too old for it when it hit, but my son has found them all on Netflix. So I have SOME appreciation. I'm more excited for the updated/big budget effects in this one...especially after watching the old trailer. GOOD GOD, that's some basement quality CG work.

Ha-ha Jonah hill would be funny but I know that won't happen. Gad may do it though. Mclovin needs work so he'd sign on. Maybe get Louis CK to be juice bar manager ha-ha (would be amazing)

I think the biggest problem isn't about the movie being good. If it bombs, nobody cares. The real challenge is sustaining a movie franchise if a sequel gets green it. Case in point, Transformers. Awesome first movie, downward spiral to hell from there onward.

Point is, even if the movie turns out good, it will probably be ruined by sequels just like anything else today.

It was as stupidly tasteless and cringeworthy as the rest of Bayformers.
I'd rather sit through the whole season of Power Rangers Ninja Storm again than watch any of Bayformers. lol
