Ok I used this very informative analysis to catch up to PR lore. If you know **** like I did watch this. I saw Godzillaspawn talking about all those details I had to go and learn about it.

Re-shoots are in full effect at the moment....

And recently one was shot a cemetery....hints of a death....

I'm sure it'll be a box office hit on opening night, I don't expect it to do better than the first Bayformers on the RT average, though. Let's face it, Power Rangers isn't exactly a popular franchise with lots of appeal for grown up audiences. I doubt most of us here even stuck with the series after we reached the sixth grade.

I still love the original cast (even JDF), and the first few seasons for the sake of nostalgia. But, that's about it.

It's still got a huge following, although I haven't stuck with it since In Space and that was 1998... I think it will be serviceable at the very least given how dated the show is now, so it can only do as bad as the show is by today's standards.

When it comes to box office nothing is safe, what should make money bombs (Dredd) and what should bomb makes money (pick your poison).

All you can hope for is that if they make a respectable drama with great action hopefully it will be rewarded by the fans buying tickets and the critics.

But no guarantee, movie can be good and still end up like a PG-13 version of Dredd.

What happened to Dredd is a crime.

You all should be ashamed of yourselves lol.

Yeah, that's a good point. They might be able to pull off some better and bigger fight scenes given the budget, too.

Well then, it seems like I missed out on some good f*p material over the years...

That Pink Samurai Ranger, especially.

Karl Urban is box office poison...and tv poison too. That's why it failed. Dredd needed the power of Tom Cruise's running.

There's plenty of bad films making a killing, Sewer Squid and Jerkass Whirl for example. Not saying this will be any better, since it could very well be another franchise that shouldn't go beyond one film.

I can't believe they got 150 million for the budget. Let's hope it doesn't have Bayformer level ****** CGI.

It should be a federal crime that Dredd didn't get a sequel.
