Megazord looked cool from the few shots. Very Pacific Rim-ish. It has that level of playfulness/cheese from original series but seems more authentic in action. Putties were cool. Rita looked really cool.

Definitely liked what I saw for most part.

Yeah I got more faith in it now, but will still reserve judgment until we see it. The big Putty fight looked like right out of the show.

I'm kind of glad they sized down the zords for this. They were 2014 Godzilla size originally but much more fitting now. The whole town would be destroyed if they were original size.

Zords work on film at least. They're smaller for sure, but the full Megzord and Goldar seem like mini skyscrapers, which is fine. They're still bigger than the ****** 95' film.

The designs have great scale.

Good:
Scale
Best looking effects PR has ever had
Pacific Rim like
Designs not Transformers messy

Will probably be bad:
Teen drama
Small town battle like Thor 1
Balance of teen drama and costly effects heavy action scenes, I doubt this had a Pacific Rim budget

Pretty much. I'm interested in it again. The designs are all acceptable, but Goldar sucks. I don't know how he goes from a flying Sphinx to a cheese monster... but whatever. Maybe he'll evolve through the films.

I really hope Megazord has a sword. I've come to accept it for what it looks like, but the sword is essential. The toys that are out have sword like weapons, but not what fans are accustomed to. I think this Megazord relies more on overwhelming firepower than just swordsmanship. If it turns out to be a balance between the two, then more power to it.

Loved seeing the suits. Loved seeing the individual Zords and from what I could tell, I liked the Megazord.

Zordon was surprisingly 'not off the wall' looking, compared to what we got with Alpha.

I liked that the trailer didn't reveal too much that we didn't already know.

I didn't care for Goldar.....and Bill Hadar. :lol

I think it's also time for me to update my avatar and sig.

You heard it here first.

It's TIME.....right after I watch the trailer another 5 times.

I know I'm one of the few who are pumped about this....but I'm pumped. :lol

Sure his design is questionable but Goldar had a cool man in suit vibe. :yess:

Yeah, I guess what bothers me is in terms of a reboot here is Goldar was the one of the few character designs that I wish they didn't mess with when creating this. But then again, it's a reboot, so I admire the creativity, but there's just some things you can't mess with (for me.) And he/it was one of them. I hope there is a 'normal looking' version of him before Rita makes him 'grow' - assuming she still makes things grow.
