That's probably the top 2 on my list.

IMO, DD is kind of boring, but Ihaven't read any DD stuff in a LONG time. Notice how he's omitted from most major Marvel event crossovers for some reason.

Your nuts. DD is still a top tier character and always will be. When Sabretooth and Venom have had their own comic for 40 years then come back to me.

I don't dispute that DD is an "A-List" Marvel character and eventually deserves a PF, and the ideas for a Sabretooth or Deadpool PF are great (Sabretooth would be awsome), ...but Cyclops > DD!

• Cyclops leads Marvel's #2 best selling series, and a series that has been out longer than DD
• Cyclops always plays a major role in Marvel Events
• Cyclops was married to Jean Grey, Madelynne Pryor, and is hooked up with Emma Frost
• His costume designs would make a better PF
• Other than Logan and Mystique, the X series has been absent from the PF line
• DD swings around with a 'cane' while Cyclops can level a mountain with his eyes

Not quite sure what "he doesn't get a look in" means, but:

Daredevil movies = 1
X-Men movies = 3, Cyclops in all three. The only reason Cyclops didn't have a more prominent role in the 3rd movie is because James Marsden had time conflicts with Superman Returns and Singer bailed on them during preproduction. In the original X-Men 3 script that Singer was going to use, the entire show revolved around Jean Grey, Cyclops, and Emma Frost.

I am not saying DD is not popular with some folks and he needs a PF, I just think Cyclops is...more popular and more important to the Marvel Universe. And, c'mon, he is with Emma Frost and leads the X-Men.
